Casa del Alma Hotel Boutique & Spa

Service is excellent and ambiance is very nice, but I found the spa experience to be way overpriced for the value delivered. I booked the jacuzzi for an hour ($1000 MXN!) and while it’s a nice spacious tub, it had rings of dirt along the side, the water cooled off to lukewarm quickly, and the jets were super intense and I had no button to switch them off. Staff were responsive, but couldn’t really help the situation. I ended up ending my session early so I could warm up with a hot shower 🤷‍♀️

The hotel is in a great situation for exploring San Cristobal. Close to the sites and the many restaurants, bars and live music venues.||The rooms were big, clean but dated. ||Unfortunately the rooms didn’t have coffee/ tea making facilities, which would have been useful on our second morning when we had a 5am start.||Breakfast was good and served in the main restaurant.||Staff at the hotel were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Very smiley and helpful reception staff.

This hotel is the pinnacle of service, beauty, elegance and convenience. The staff go out of their way to be of service. It is pricey, there is no doubt about that, but it truly embodies what a boutique hotel should be. They took care of ALL of our travel needs with precision. Ask for a room on upper floors (2 or 3)

Great choice and the best place to rest in a quiet and nice environment. It is in downtown area near all the best places. The service is very good. They assisted with coordination of transportation from airport to the hotel with an additional charge and it was very convenient. They welcomed us with a cocktail and the retaurant is very good as well. I highly recommend it.

Had a great stay here. A modern hotel with nice rooms . Good showers with lots of hot water. Free parking. Good service. Great location.

Id give 5 stars if the staff knew some minimum English words like towels , baggage and soap. I t was unbelievable that so many front desk staff knew any basic English words. Thanks to Christie and one young man who were most helpful and spoke fluent English. The rooms are wonderful. Great layout. Beautiful and efficient entry The hotel restaurant was not impressive though. The cocktails were ok but the food left a lot to be desired The massage area is superb. Offelia was great and understood me but lotion needs to be offered along with oil One thing needed is much larger robes In The rooms. They are tiny. I never saw such small robes in any global hotel

Good location and very friendly staff which helped arrangements with very good local drivers/guides. ||The restaurant deserves an excellent rating. We also had the breakfast package and well worth it. ||Hotel may deserve a better rating but our suite on the third floor (nice view) has a sliding door to the patio with a 1/4" bottom gap that maintenance could not fix....front desk told us that they could not do much about it. The furniture looked stained and the bed mattress, sheets and bath towels were "tired". Bathroom sink was modern but not practical and shower fixture in the bathroom needs some work.||The overall place is attractive and common areas are aesthetically pleasing and well maintained

Relatively large hotel for the area. Nice rooms high end toiletries, great parking and location.
