يعجز الوصف😍😍 Honestly, the hotel was more than wonderful — the location and everything about it. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great stay, especially since the hotel is in the most beautiful and important neighborhood, the Albaicín. Although I arrived after midnight, I found someone at the reception who was very kind and personally took me to my room. Honestly, I regret booking only two nights. I sincerely thank the hotel management for paying attention to the smallest details and for preparing the room so perfectly. What I loved the most was the coffee machine in the room, along with the tea and coffee. I also truly appreciated the welcome card you left — that was such a kind gesture. I felt so comfortable and truly welcomed. Thank you very much, and if I visit Spain again, I will definitely book with you.

This is an excellent hotel in a superb location. We were given a beautiful room with a set of steps to a small balcony. Very welcoming hotel with Cava and chocolates on arrival as well. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok - basic - we would probably eat out for breakfast if we stayed again - which we would as everything else was really good.

We had a great experience at this charming and lovely hotel. Every interaction with the staff at reception was so pleasant and friendly. The room we had and its quaint courtyard were so fitting and authentic to the area—it really enhanced our experience of Granada. Great location, excellent breakfast in the morning, and overall our favorite of the three hotels we’ve stayed in Spain so far. If I could recommend one improvement, it would be to upgrade the hair dryer provided; ours worked but was not very powerful and it would have taken a really long time to dry my thick hair. Otherwise, loved everything!

Google
What a lovely hotel. Perfectly located to explore Granada with comfortable rooms and such an authentic feel. The rooms were reasonably priced and included a good breakfast.the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the aircon in our room which was dealt with promptly and satisfactorily.

Beautiful hotel, Professional and Knowledgeable Staff, and Excellent Location! Just a lovely place - well located, great staff, beautiful clean and pretty rooms! Such a pleasure to stay in a traditional and gorgeous boutique hotel. Front desk staff made excellent suggestions for restaurants, things to see - and especially the flamenco! I have seen many flamenco but never one as fun and amazing as the one they suggested we see in the caves! The hotel is in a main area - but also just one street up and away from the main traffic areas so quiet and cool when you need to rest or relax in heat of the afternoon! Encouraged my sister to stay there in November when she was in Granada - and she loved the stay and staff as well! Thank you!

Really friendly staff. Great breakfast - they catered for vegans too! Beautiful rooms and inside courtyard. Very clean and beautiful decorated. Helpful tourist information from reception. The place is a dream to visit . I would definitely return here.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Rachel was super helpful and kind to us. Our room was perfect and loved the courtyard. Only reason for a four on location is because you have to walk far once your cab drops you off, so if you’re toting a bunch of luggage or can’t walk hills it was difficult to get to. However the location was in the middle of everything, easy to get to restaurants but still had to cab to Alhambra. Loved the breakfast at the hotel. There were even some homemade pastries. Thanks for a great stay. I would go back!

The Nazari hotel is a delightful little spot to land in Granada. We lodged here while on a road trip throughout southern Spain towards the end of May. It is centrally located near the Plaza Nueva with lots of options for sight seeing and eating within easy walking distance. ||Getting to the hotel is a bit of a challenge, as they don't allow normal traffic in the area surrounding the hotel. We parked our car in a public parking spot recommended by the hotel and took a taxi to the hotel. Even with that, finding the front door to the hotel is a bit of a challenge. The taxi driver said "just go up that alleyway", sounding as if he actually knew where the front door was. But we just counted that as part of our adventure.||All you'd ever need, from tapa bars, to restaurants, the Alcaicria, and the Sacromnto district are within walking distance. And, of course, the amazing Alhambra is right there. (We walked to and from the Alhambra, but if we were to do it again, we'd take a taxi up to the Alhambra and walk back down to the hotel.||The Nazari is an old former residence, with newer things retrofitted in. Think more like a B&B and less like a Four Seasons. The staff are delightful and easy to work with. and everything went well during our stay. Would definitely do it again.

Yelp
Everything was great, location, rooms, services, parking in a lot, and breakfast. Close walk to sites. front desk very helpful, Carolina got us last minute Alhambra tickets! Hard to do that. Old 16th century mansion. Steps up to in . Wonderful!!

Yelp
This is a wonderful place which, per our experience, needs some serious management adjustments. 1. Parking is about 1.2 km from the hotel. We were advised to take a taxi. Good advise, but for 40 minutes in 38C heat, there was no taxi in sight, no answer to the placing order phone and a queue of about 10 people waiting. Asking the hotel for help came as a "we can do nothing" answer. Result: dragging suitcases in 38C heat through town. 2. The second day we dared, after a long day out, pouring sparkling wine in the clean hotel glasses. Though, after taking some thirsty gulps, we figured out, too late, the foam was not from the wine but from the detergent used for glass cleaning. Result: taking turns at the bathroom. The receptionist insisted on giving me another glass. Sorry, but our trust was gone. 3. They did room cleaning but forgot to re-supply with toilet paper challenging through the night our paper-saving talent. 4. And check-out time came. They ordered a taxi, deducted 6 Euros from our bill ("it will cost not more"). It cost 8.50. The 2.5 Euro extra was not the issue. One feels sour, though, confronted with cheep service. 5. The bathtub leaks and floods the bathroom every time one uses it. Conclusion: great location, beautiful place, we even had our own room terrace. Would I ever book here again? You bet: NO!!! PS: We are spending yearly over 150 days in hotels around the world.

Yelp
The location was perfect. The staff was so so helpful and very kind. They made dinner and show reservations for us and gave us so many recommendations. The only con was that the cleaning products were so strong (perfume like). We had to open all the windows to air the room everyday.

Yelp
What a nice hotel in the heart of Granada. Room was very clean and people were really nice. It was very close to all the shopping food and points of interest. We would definitely stay here again. The bathrooms and rooms were a little small but was very comfortable. Plus the A/C worked as most fancier hotels do not turn on A/C until later. We were able to adjust the temperature of our room to a more comfortable temperature. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast.

Sue R.

Yelp
Very enjoyable stay at Hotel Nazari. Staff was very helpful with directions and things to do. The hotel was close to everything. We recommend this hotel for your stay in Granada.

Dave M.

Yelp
Beautiful old hotel with very friendly staff. Good breakfast! Close to everything. Taxis may drop you off at the bottom of a short hill to climb.

Yelp
This was the perfect unique and comfortable yet budget-friendly place for me to stay in Granada. It was close to everything I wanted to do. ¡Muchas gracias!

Yelp
I found the hotel and its location very historic. The building and the rooms were well maintained and were adequately updated. This was exactly as everything appeared on the website and confirmed my choice of the hotel. It fits so well into the Albayzin section of Grenada. My traveling companion only likes ultramodern accommodations, with large windows, steel and central air conditioning, but acceded to my desires on this choice. Unfortunately, on the first night my friend awoke in the early morning hours with tiny ants in his bed. The night manager moved us into another, larger suite at 3:30 AM. The next night was fine but on the third night this time I awoke at 3 AM to find tiny ants in my bed. I realize that this was not within the control of staff and it only moderately inconvenienced me. My friend was not at all satisfied and said that this reinforced his dislike of any hotel not ultramodern and sterile. I will continue to seek out and choose locations like Casa del Capitel Nazarí personally as it has infinitely more charm and character. The staff was convivial, extremely helpful and very apologetic about our problem with insects. I would love to return to Grenada, and if alone would choose Casa del Capitel Nazarí again.

Margaret M.

Yelp
very helpful staff. good location except for access to taxi. we had to roll bags to and from nearby taxi stand. Short walk to Alhambra but uphill. By the way, be sure to book your Alhambra visit well in advance as it sells out. A tip: for last minute access visit the online ticket site just after midnight as more tickets seem to show up then. The web site gets slow after midnight but persistence will pay off.

Barb S.

Yelp
This is a 16th Century Renaissance hotel with lots of character and common areas to sit and relax. The room was comfortable with lots of character with wood beam ceilings but was fairly small and bathrooms have not been updated, although fine. The location was very central right on Plaza Nueva so close to lots of restaurants and sights. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the best thing about this hotel. Adrian (sp?) at the front desk totally went out of his way to give us recommendations and book restaurant reservations, shows, etc for us. We were in Spain for a month and he was the best front desk person we had the privilege to meet.

Yelp
Great location and welcoming front desk. The beds are the absolute best of our trip so far. The breakfast is to die for and well worth €10 per person!

Fjoni L.

Yelp
Nice and clean. But rooms are small. Great location. Near Plaza Nueva where there are many restaurants and shops. Very good value for your money.

Todd V.

Yelp
Wonderful location. Excellent staff. This was just an amazing experience. We would highly recommend this hotel. We love this hotel!!

Stephanie G.

Yelp
the hotel is in a fantastic location and a good value. the room was pretty as was the entire hotel. service was excellent and very helpful at all times. had very good recommendation. Shower had low pressure, but water was hot. Couldn't access soap or shampoo in shower as pumps didn't work right and could only get a couple of drops. Overall very nice and authentic historical property

Yelp
We had a fantastic stay here during our trip to Spain. It is an adorable little old house that has been turned into a hotel. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from plaza nueva and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our room was small, but that was to be expected for a historic hotel like this one. Breakfast was fantastic, with a large selection of food. If I go back to Granada, I would definitely stay here again!

Daph S.

Yelp
Quaint and cute, excellent location, the staff was very nice. The rooms were a bit small, and the AC didn't seem to work (luckily for my parents, as they were always cold even in the room, I had a harder time with the warmth to sleep). Other than that, it's a good value, I would recommend this place if you're looking for no frills, value and location.

Michael B.

Yelp
Great location, clean and an excellent breakfast. Our room and shower are very small ( not sure if they all are) and the bright white/blue LED lighting in the bathroom is not good. They should replace the bulbs with the warm LED bulbs in the future.

Todd M.

Yelp
A very nice hotel in the heart of Granada and the Albaicin district, but only a few steps off of the main Alhambra access street, close enough to be conveniently, far enough to be quiet. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. The room was a little small by American standards but was clean and comfortable and of course the due to the history of this updated but still very old structure that includes a wonderful courtyard.

Ee R.

Yelp

Yelp
We paid 84euro for room with 3 beds and the room is huge! Very clean and friendly staff. Ac is awesome! Room is quiet except we heard toilet above us flush a few times . They provide tea and coffee at 4:30pm in the courtyard. Great location to old part of town and u can look up to see Alhambra. I would stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel is blessed with some of the best staff I have ever had the joy to interact with. A very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble Brilliant location, close to the bottom of the Alhambra hill, The bathroom was a disappointment, the shower was too small to turn around in and when I dropped the soap I had to step out of the shower to pick it up, the toilet had been shoehorned into the corner with the basin so close it was impossible to stand between the two, although there was empty space further along the same wall Breakfast was nice enough but on 2 out of the 3 mornings I had to ask the waitress to clear the table as she was on her own and had far too much work to do Would I stay again? probably not

Brian S.

Yelp
Very nice Old hotel in the Albaicin area which was a great location. On this occasion we were only staying one night. The room was rather small and if we had been staying longer would not have been acceptable.
google avatar

Diana S.

Yelp
Great location. A beautiful, 25 minute walk to the Alhambra. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Pretty good breakfast.
google avatar

Jane B.

Yelp
We had a nice stay in this clean and well located hotel. We were walking distance to everything you will want to do in Granada. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was a big variety and worth the ten euro.
google avatar

Shane S.

Yelp
Great location, great staff. Room was nice, clean, comfortable. They happily switched us to a room that had a queen bed instead of two twins pushed together. We had a view of the Alhambra from our window.

Fay O.

Yelp
Excellent location just off Plaza Nueva, which is a very good base for exploring Granada. Our room was clean and surprisingly quiet given the location. The staff were just lovely people - caring, helpful, and willing to listen to my broken Spanish with an encouraging smile. The front desk staff do speak English -thankfully - so all went well. Hotel offers late afternoon tea and sweets in the common area. The room was small and the shower head didn't sit in its cradle very well which made showering a bit challenging. But otherwise it was a nice little home for our stay. Very affordable and authentic.
google avatar

Gail B.

Yelp
Great location. Easy access to all areas of the city. Staff friendly and helpful. Common areas could get a bit chilly but room was comfortable and warm. Afternoon tea/coffee in lobby was a welcome after day of exploring. Many nearby restaurants and tapas bars and flamenco sites in walking distance. Buses and taxis right out hotel door. Walking distance to Alhambra, Albaicin, Sacromonte, Cathedral and shopping. Hotel location made for safe, easy visit.

Jim S.

Yelp
Great location. However taxi can't come to the door. Signage at the corner but confusing signage at the hotel. Front door to hotel always closed, so which door is it? Pros: location, charming inside, friendly staff, good breakfast. Cons: small room, no chair, no places for suitcase, no coffee pot in room.

Laurie S.

Yelp
With only one night in Granada, this was a great place to stay - within walking distance of the sites, shops and restaurants. There was no parking on site, but they provided a discount at a public lot about 1 km away. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The AC and wireless worked well. The best part was that it is an old historic house with nooks and crannies to explore.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
Our taxi dropped us off at the small alley leading up to the hotel. Signage could be better as we almost went to a person's home. We were directed to a hotel but it was the wrong one as there are two very close together. We did finally find it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom is very small. The location is great! There are Turkish baths a five minute walk away which we went to.

Lisa B.

Yelp
A warm and welcoming hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. The property was beautiful and it is in a great location. A little tough to get to - had to park the car and cab in; but that's true of all the hotels in the area

Michelle P.

Yelp
Great hotel in the heart of Granada. Easy access to all the sights. We loved it!!

Dusanka D.

Yelp
Very nice place in the heart of the city. Very clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Rich W.

Yelp
All of the front desk staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very close to the Alhambra and San Nicholas. Room was very efficient with its space considering the age of the building. Nice selection for breakfast. Very helpful staff!

Cindy K.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay here. It isn't every day that you can stay in an "ancient Renaissance palace." We loved the history and beauty of this hotel and the location was great. We walked to almost everything, but the mini bus was easy and inexpensive to take when needed. The breakfast was wonderful, too. So much to choose from and so convenient. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They quickly responded to my questions by email before our trip and even secured our Alhambra tickets for us. They were sold out online.....that would have been a big disappointment. It was awesome to be able to sleep with the windows open and see the beautiful buildings and landscapes glowing in the moonlight. It was loud when they started prepping for that delicious breakfast, but we just closed the window. But a light sleeper may need earplugs. Our bathroom was beautiful and had plenty of room. The exposed beams and other historic elements throughout the hotel were gorgeous. We loved the courtyards and balconies. Parking in Granada is tricky. It was great to have specific instructions about parking and using a taxi to get to hotel. It was not a very far walk, but the taxi fare was deducted from parking fee. My only regret about this hotel, is that we were only here for one night. If I am ever fortunate enough to be in Granada, Spain again, I will definitely stay here again.

Melinda R.

Yelp
What an amazing little gem in Granada! Close to everything, wonderful staff, delicious breakfasts, a 10 all the way around!!

Yelp
This is a very quaint and beautiful old hotel. They gave us a very nice, top floor, room that caught the sun until late in the day (for Feb) and we just had a view of the wall to the river looking down the alleyway. A nice touch was the bottle of red wine, on arrival, and an even nicer touch was the bottle of champagne, the next day, because the lovely lady on reception had noticed it was my birthday that very day (fm my passport when they check you in) and my partner's the next week. The breakfast was good and the coffee/cake, for yr return in later afternoon, was another considerate touch. The wifi could have been a tad stronger as it went down a few times while trying to listen to Radio Caroline in our room while getting ready to go out. I would recommend this hotel and go back again.

Robbin H.

Yelp
A "Standard Room" I consider substandard. The hotel is in a charming building and off the noisy streets, but our room was airless, unless both windows were open to an interior patio on one side and a stairway on the other. With the windows open we got the noise of other guests coming and going, they could see into our room from their windows or doorways and the lights in the stairways going on and off all night interrupted our sleep. With the windows closed and the room quieter and dark, it became stuffy and made sleep difficult. DON'T VISIT GRANADA DURING THE SPRING OR FALL. It's too crowded and impossible to see the sights, with everything booked.

Yelp
My husband likes old things with character. On our trip to Andalusia, I tried to pick lodgings online that had charm and were well located. We arrived At Casa del Capitel Naziri in Granada after a marvelous experience in Seville. The hotel is well situated just off of the Plaza Nuevo. The lobby rooms are attractive, but I don't remember signing up for a monastic room. The bed(s) were hard as wood planks. We had a room with a small double and one single for the two of us. Not the kind you look forward to sinking into after a long hot day of sightseeing. The small bedside "tables" (cornices actually), are suspended over a foot (12") higher on the wall than the rock hard bed. Not easy to reach for a bottle of water or your phone or whatever. The closet has a few hangers, but no shelves. There is literally no place to put your clothes. We decided to make use of the single bed at the entrance to our room. The bathroom was tight with little room to conveniently store our personal bath needs. (Toiletries very unimpressive by the way.) Did I mention there isn't a chair to sit on? Back to the spare bed again - bureau and seating area combined.... Then there were the flushing sounds running down the wall from other rooms and the waterfall sounds from other room's showers. This hotel is not top of the line, but not cheap either. The hotel has character, but our room did not feel like it was designed to welcome guests, but rather to challenge them. Not a fan of this hotel.

Marc S.

Yelp
Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed and as a bonus it had a terrace with a great view of the Alhambra. My only wish was that the ac had been enabled but because it wasn't quite cooling season yet they were not operating. This would have helped minimize some of the street noise that could be heard in the middle of the night. Staff was very friendly and helpful and booked for us an early morning taxi to the airport on the day we checked out.

John G.

Yelp
Super location. Very friendly staff. Comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water for shower. Very good value for price point. Thanks

Susan W.

Yelp
The Casa del Capitel Nazarí is a nice cozy hotel in a great location close to the Alhumbra and the main streets of Granada. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The only downside was the washroom was quite small and there was no safe in the room (but you could lock valuables at the front desk).

Barbara F.

Yelp
Very pleasant four night stay at this charming and quirky (in a nice way) hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side with little space for putting out clothes - no chest of drawers. However for a short stay it was not a big issue. The room/bathroom were kept clean daily. The breakfast choice was good. Free coffee/tea and nibbles are offered at 4.30pm in the lounge which was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location for all the main attractions of Granada - all within walking distance. Bars and restaurants are also nearby. Excellent value for money for a 3 star hotel.
