Casa del Mar Beach Resort

This property is in the low-rise district. The resort is well positioned and the Presidential Suites are on the beach. We had a 5th floor unit with fabulous views! The Pool and Beach areas a well maintained with staff visible and attentive to guest needs. At the time of our visit, the majority of guests were mostly adults with very few children or toddlers. We took advantage of Matthews the on-site restaurant for lunch and cocktails. Food and service was very good, nd "Happy Hour" happens 3 times a day offering discounted beverages. Several really good restaurants are in easy walking distance and mist offer some king of special throughout the week. All in, we enjoyed every meal on island and in choosing restaurants found those moderately priced and very similar entree prices to what we would pay in the States. We would go back and stay at Casa Del Mar without hesitation. ||

The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The front desk, housekeeping was very good and helpful. The landscaping and pool was very well kept. The afternoon pool attendant Levy was very freindly and hard working. Matthews bar had a very good happy hour and food. The bar servers Marvin, Sorida, Fran, Ashley, Johnfred and Bhing did a very good job and were friendly and entertaining. Also enjoyed Angelica in the restaurant.

The staff was wonderful. We had a 2 bedroom the one we stayed in was like a dark cave with one lamp and no window. The drinks and food at Matthew’s were not worth it. I wish it was since it’s so convenient. All the bathrooms are so outdated, the shower was so tiny and the floor looked old and filthy .

Arrived at Casa Del Mar the day after our sons wedding on Aruba. We had a newly remodeled room 1407 overlooking the pool. We requested the twins in the second bedroom to be pushed together, a baby crib (comes in 2 sizes) and a high chair. The room worked out great for 4 adults and a 20 month old. The beach, pool and kiddy pool were in great shape and maintained daily. Activities like water aerobics, chair aerobics, bingo, bartending class, outdoor movie night and other activities were available. Santo's coffee shop, M's crepe shack and Matthews Restaurant/Pool side bar were outstanding and reasonably priced.||The new couple celebrated at CDM as well. Had 1423 overlooking the ocean. Had a special gift in their room from CDM when they arrived.||50' from the pool, 80' from the bar/restaurant, 100' from sand/ocean and 300' from casino and more bars/restaurants. Nice convenience store onsite that has about everything you need. If not she (Patricia) will go get it for you. Also a nice upscale shop with Tommy Bahama clothing

We had a two bedroom unit. We found it clean and well maintained, adequately supplied kitchen and regular housekeeping, if wanted. The view from our 5th floor balcony was outstanding. . Beach access couldn't be easier!

The whole staff is amazing ! Food , drinks and pool staff all amazing. Rooms are super clean with wonderful views. Updated rooms are all great and the rooms are all tech savvy. The pool area is great with great abundance of comfortable chairs. The beach is always clean and gorgeous sand !

We have been going to the Casa for over 20 years. The entire staff makes you feel like family. The new upgrades are wonderful. Matthew’s Bar and restaurant under Bing’s management is wonderful, bartenders and servers remember you and make you feel at home, and the view is spectacular.

We just returned from our 42nd trip to Aruba, staying at our wonderful home away from home. The resort has flourished in the last few years. The management team is exquisite and the staff is very helpful and accommodating in satisfying any requests. Our housekeeper Yolanda, was terrific and gracious. Bob Curtis, Starr Ramos, Maureen Blake, Ferdinand Winterdal really made our trip incredible. Another shout out to Hendrick and the staff at the front desk. My wife and I have never regretted purchasing in 1992 and we are looking forward to a return trip this fall. Top-notch.
