Family of four that stayed in the Ambassador building directly across the street from main building for one week the end of October. Arrived at main desk around 1pm and waited for room to be ready (3:45pm). We didn’t realize we could have left our bags at security and went out to do something. Lobby could use a little more TLC and AC, but overall the staff/management do a good job maintaining a lot of building and area. Main pool and beach is a battle for chairs so get there very early to get your space but follow the rules! Everyone is a regular here and they are quick to out maneuver you lol. Pool is well maintained but mostly for lounging and water exercise classes. Not really for kids to be splashing and jumping around IMO. Beach was ok, but rough waves during our stay made it impossible to go in for a day or two. Apparently this beach receives the worst of waves given its orientation. Room was great and well maintained over the course of our stay. Only confusing part is you don’t know what time your room will be serviced and you can’t be in it when the staff is there. We rented a car from the resort and all went smoothly. Easy and close parking. Close to some other places to walk to, eat, and enjoy.

This was my 4th time back to Aruba. I have stayed at the main building at Casa Del Mar 3 times and this was my first stay at the Ambassador wing. This review only involves the Ambassador.|This is a one bedroom suite and a little smaller than the 2 bedroom suite in the main building.|Our room was very clean and has a full kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave oven, stove and oven. They have glassware, silverware, Pots and pans, etc., if you want to eat in. |They also provide a blender. They provide one roll of paper towels and dish soap.||They have one grill at the property.|You have access to all the amenities at the main hotel and you also have a smaller pool at the Ambassador. There is water aerobics and chair yoga and the instructors are awesome.||Lots of wonderful restaurants near by.||This is a wonderful place to stay in Aruba, which is a beautiful island to visit.

Thank you Casa Del Mar for a lovely stay!||I did a lot of research before our trip and made a request for a completely renovated suite two months prior to our arrival. Nevertheless, they stated that there was no guarantee, as the hotel was still under construction on some suites closer to the beach side.||We were happy to know that upon arrival that our request was granted and we even got a lovely view! I also requested for the twin beds to be joined as a king. That was also made possible!||Generally, I would like to thank all of the staff for trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible upon request.||The suite was very clean and modern. We had a perfect view of the ocean and pool from the from the fourth floor!||However, inside the suite, the bedrooms would get hot every now and then and the main area would remain freezing cold. We complained 4 days before we left. However, the maintenance only came two hours on the day that we were checking out. It was never fixed. That was very disappointing and unacceptable.|||We loved the daily cleaning option. The housekeeping staff were very approachable and pleasant, as well as the bell boys.||Matthew's restaurant meals and drinks were a little expensive, but some of the restaurant staff need to have a better attitude as they can come across unfriendly.||We also liked the fact that complimentary coffee was avaliable in from 10am to 11 am in the business centre. ||Mancheno beach was stunning and footsteps away from eagle beach. ||Thank you Casa Del Mar, for a memorable vacation.

Great location! Beautiful beach! So chill here with great restaurants in the area. Away from all the hustle and bustle of Palm beach but also a short cab ride away. Our room is clean and large! We would definitely come back! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Our housekeeper, Marta, is the sweetest.

Great place to stay excellent food. The only issue is the maintenance work that was done on the place while I was vacationing there there was too many renovations going on while they were booking. Visitors should’ve closed a place down for a week or so before booking people to stay All in All great place. Great beachfront great location.

We were assigned across the street from the main building-The Ambassador Suite. Nothing is mentioned in the room details that it has units across the street. I choose this resort because the pictures show its waterfront. It's very deceptive!||The hot tub on this site can cook a lobster! Not comfortable at all. Many people have complained about it but nothing has been done. The guy that closes the pool at 9 PM and security personnel were made aware. Water is still very hot!||The unit has no dishwasher. The washer and dryer in the hallways are coin operated. The grill requires reservation- $5 for 2 hours. Wi-fi is not free. These should have been a basic amenity that resort should have provided.||Matthews Beachside Restaurant. Very dissatisfied with the service or the lack thereof we received at the bar and restaurant. We sat at the bar and were given the menu right away. We waited at the bar for about 20 minutes while staff were collecting garbage and served other people who came after us. None from the 4 people at the bar area acknowledged if we were ready to order. We walked out! We came back to the restaurant hoping it would be different. The person that brought us the water was at our table in less than 2 mins, and we explained what happened at the bar few minutes ago. We waited again for another 20 mins, and no waiter has approached our table. Again, we left for non-existing service. We never spent a dime at the bar or restaurant after that.|| On a positive note, we had a great massage at the resort. There’s a small market, restaurants, Dunkin donuts, Auntie Annie, and Baskin- Robbins at the building next to Alhambra Casino.||I will not recommend this resort and don’t plan on coming back! If this is our first time in Aruba, we will never come back to the Island! Beware not all units are waterfront or beachfront. If you are assigned to the Ambassador Suite, prepare to cross the parking lot! ||

I would avoid Casa del Mar. The beach here is quite rough compared to just around the corner on Eagle Beach proper. There are no dishwashers. I have asked housekeeping twice to bring paper towels to the room, and they have failed, so they don’t care about their guests. And our water was off all day today for some renovation. Stay elsewhere.

Bad all around experience. Not much in terms of activities at resort. First night awakened at 1230 am by faulty fire alarm. Problem temporarily fixed, but happened again at 430 am on third night. Their solution was to just detach sensor from the wiring and leave it. never was fixed. I guess Aruba has a very liberal fire code that allows this sort of thing? ||Air conditioning was down for two days and when it came back on took another another full day to get up to temperature.||Constant noise from construction and irritating smell of paint from renovations. ||Not interested in going back here
