Five friends staying for 2 nights. We were welcomed in a very open hearted way. The rooms, baths amazingling clean. For whatever we asked, somebody was there to help us. The atmosphere is friendly, the breakfast was scrumptious. Especially the sfogliatelle. We definitely like to come back. Thanks very much to Guiseppe, Marco & the others!

-hot water was on and off, depending on your luck. We had to skip shower 50% of the time -shower tub kinda leaking -wifi practically non exist To give them credit, they came around to try to fix the issues, but all failed. -Nearby parking super limited and expensive, 38 Euro for 24 hour -the rooms are quite nice though, clean and newly renovated

Unfortunately my experience was not good. I arrived having booked a room three months ago to find that they were renovating the kitchen and sitting room. My only space was my room which was very pleasant but not where I want to be all the time. Breakfast was not available in the Casa but I could get breakfast over the road. Access was a problem and I asked about my concerns- as there was no reception, I had to make sure I was in my room by 7pm or I would have been locked out. There was little help with any tourist advice or interest in my welfare. I wanted to go out to get dinner but when I asked about access in the church next door, I was abruptly told the church was closed and I had to return at 10am the next day.|I am surprised that if the Casa was not functioning to full capacity, I was not contacted and asked to find alternative accommodation.|Make sure you check what is happening here before you book!

Such a fantastic little find. This is a lovely community-led business that is run by a team who has the neighborhood’s interest at heart. The manager and company went out of their way to make sure we found the place ok and were settled in, despite coming in many hours late due to a delayed flight. I challenge you to find a B&B who cares quite as much in the more popular tourist district! Rione Sanita is the perfect location to base yourself. You can easily visit the catacombs, Archeological museum, and the lovely Capodimonte park at the top of the hill. The few times we wondered into the tourist district, we were always ready to return home to Rione Sanita. Naples is such a wonderful city, just take our word and stay in this cozy district. Breakfast was tasty, showers are small, but hot with good pressure, and AC works great. Overall all a very comfortable stay. Good luck to the team and thank you for taking great care of us.

We had long wanted to visit Napoli and we searched the web for a B&B without any prior clue. We found the story of Casa Del Monacone very particular and we booked there. This turned out to be an incredible experience in the true heart of Napoli. Indeed, Rione Sanità is a popular neighbourhood with many sincere and touching stories. Giuseppe, along with the members of the association, have done a wonderful job renovating a convent and creating a very nice B&B. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good. People are very nice and we received the best tips for visits and food. The location is very convenient, close to historical sites, great pizza restaurants, market and typical bars. The youth of the association play an important role against social exclusion and they have renovated the catacombs and other parts of the neighbourhood. This was a perfect way to discover Napoli for the first time. We highly recommend this experience.

I could go on about the extraordinary setting - in a monastery complex which includes both flamboyant baroque decor, early Christian catacombs, and the pillars of a massive bridge built to allow royal coaches to avoid contact with the plebs - but what I liked the most was the enthusiastic and extremely friendly staff, who made us completely welcome and gave us tips about the neighbourhood. The rooms were spotless and the breakfasts included memorable warm Neapolitan patisseries and more than decent coffee. The place is run as a social charity, so your custom goes towards improving the lot of people in what is still a deprived, but super interesting neighbourhood. Bravo to la Paranza!

Great stay at Casa Monacone in Naples. In a central location close to everything within 10-30mins walk. Comfy beds and blackout curtains. Love that is next to a beautiful church as well. Thank you for the great stay, hope to return soon.

Its located in the middle of Sanità which is full of live so you can get a good feel for italian and especially naples way of live. You also have very good restaurants and caffees near you. It was clean and had a rich breakfast. There is also a nice open quite terrace. The staff is lovely! Giuseppe and Marco are very nice and always helping out.
