Amazing vegan place with increíble vegetan food. I like knowing that I can visit this place and find great food at great prices. They have a daily menu that includes a soup, main dish and dessert for $120. I’d recommend it a 100%

I really like casa de pan. You can always find what you need here. Casa de Pan gets 5 stars - But this is not about Casa de Pan - its about everything else in that building. What remains to be desired is the food at the so called indian restaurant. It blows my mind to read how folk love it. Theres no accounting for good taste in GOOD food. Its awful. Also, the rooms in the back - that hold breathing sessions and sound healing sessions. Lets just say, just because one can afford the instruments - does NOT make one a sound healer. The banging and clanking of the bowls was hard on the soul. The instructor had no concept of the solfeggion sequence - the awful banging sounds were disturbing to the body. What gives people the right to call themselves healers when they really have no clue? Its an insult to true shamanic healers who do indeed heal with sound.

The house-made ratatouille is the best I’ve ever tasted. Great music, also. And try the roasted garlic baguette. Tonight

The vegetarian buffet was the best Mexican food I’ve EVER had and I’ve lived in Mexico for over a year now. Hands down not exaggerating. Great complimentary coffee, fruit, and high quality cheesecake. Plus talented live music !!! Best experience thank you so much

The staff was nice and the space seemed pretty but the food was lackluster and made me sick. I had this place marked to try as its vegetarian. I arrived to a buffet for $120 pesos which because of the plandemic staff were serving from rather than everyone taking their own food which was appreciated only because buffets are always kind of gross. My understanding of chilaquiles is that they are cooked, not just sauce and cheese thrown over cold chips. They were the worst I’ve ever had and the sauce had no flavor. Even the picante salsa they brought at my request wasn’t spicy and lacked flavor. The crema de champiñones also lacked flavor. The potatoes au gratin and fruit were the only tasty food and they ran out of the potatoes. I also tried an omelet and tamale, both flavorless. But the worst part was an hour later I had to run into another cafe in town and pay to use their bathroom as my stomach literally exploded with sickness from the food.

I have had breakfast here on multiple ocasiona and tried different dishes, all of them have been delicious. The food has that homemade touch and the staff is extremely friendly.

We had chocolate, almonds and ricotta/honey croissants and we loved it. Best croissants in town. We also tried their bread/rolls and it was great as well!

More than simply an eco healthy cafe! A community centre for a wide variety of health conscious people :) Food is excellent. Wander around. There's a yogo studio, a cinema and a tienda upstairs that offers all kinds of local health products.

Very cute place downtown, good prices and the food is amazing! Everything is local, organic and they even have a shop & bakery. It's apparently full of history as it was one of the first restaurants to open in San Cristobal. The owners are involved in supporting the local community and promoting fair trade with the indigenous people of the region.

Me and my daughter stumbled into this place after being unable to decide on what to eat and it has a really vibrant interior w WiFi access. The tamales were delicious (I tried one of each) and so was everything else. The waiter was very helpful and attentive as well. Really nice place, really great food and drinks!

Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Food is fresh and tasty. Service with a smile. Had the Aztec tortilla soup with margerita pizza last night. Now back for lunch trying the portabello burger. Bread is, well, awesome!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Incredibly delicious food that is socially and eco-conscious. Fantastic service. Lovely atmosphere. Last year my friend and I were worried that we wouldn't be able to catch a bus back to the airport in time for our flight, and the owner saved us by coordinating a ride with a van service that she uses.
