Such a nice family to stay with. They were very accommodating and I felt safe during my stay. They do have after hours where you have to text the host for entrance so if you don’t have a cell service this would be difficult. Comes with a great home made breakfast. One complaint would be the beds are super uncomfortable and no AC during summer. Would stay here again! Love the dog - Kira!

Lovely hotel with the best hosts. This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in the area. I don’t enjoy big cities and Tlaquepaque is small, quiet, and a safe area with local vibes. The hosts are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooms are very traditional but comfortable. This is a traditional experience and not a luxury spa. You can walk to any part of centro in a few minutes so no taxi or uber is needed.

Relaxing, quiet, comfortable, friendly, and great location. Four of us stayed three nights, occupying 3 rooms. All of us found the beds comfortable. Wifi is excellent. Hot water is plentiful - a reasonable wait if you’re first to use it in the morning. Zero issues with noise. The premises is clean and tastefully decorated. The included breakfast is excellent; eggs done how you prefer, toast, fruit, coffee. The included parking is two blocks away, a short walk, but very much appreciated as parking in Tlaquepaque is very limited. Cannot find more friendly, engaging, and helpful hosts. 100% recommend staying here. If we are fortunate to return to Tlaquepaque this is where we will stay - if available.

positives: Good location. Close to everything. Very nice family atmosphere. Clean too. Leslie is a good cleaner, her cooking was ok. Comfy bed and good pillows. negatives: room very small and no hot water. I let the shower run a long time and still no hot water. Also, loud explosions in the middle of the night. I found out it was coming from a church nearby. Bring mosquito spray! I was bitten a lot--especially because it is quite dark in the hotel.

I found this hotel/B and B in a Lonely Planet guidebook and I recommend it highly. The room was very comfy, bright and beautiful. There was even a balcony where you could sit and read overlooking a lovely garden. It is super quiet but only 2 blocks from the center of town. The host and hostess were extremely gracious. And the breakfast spread was terrific - fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, granola, and any type of egg dish you wanted, made to order. I am hoping to come back and stay here while I take an immersion course in Spanish

I found this hotel to be very unique, with a local vibe and ambience. The architecture is very old Mexican and unique. And the service was great. It did not have air conditioning, but the nights were cool and I didn’t need it especially with the fan that they provided. ||There were fireworks nearby several of the evenings. It annoyed me until one night I decided to go find out what was going on. It was a great little local fiesta complete with a 15 person band. Tlaquepaque seems to be a safe place to walk at night and they were always food vendors up on the Square on almost any night of the week (a 5 minute walk). ||I did see one roach in the shower the first night I came but I think it crawled in through the drain, which would be a bit hard to prevent. The coffee they served more American than Mexican to me and the free breakfast consisted of USA cereals and yogurt from Sam’s Club. However for about one USD you could get huevos rancheros, and they were delicious.|Overall I enjoyed the hotel and will return to it.

Sweet little place not far from the action... A wonderful court yard, with a resident bunny who greeted us upon arrival. Small but comfortable room, nice breakfast and nice staff. Luis waited for us to arrive, even though our flight arrived 2 hrs late. Cheers!

We were very happy to arrive at this delightful place to rest for the night. They stayed up for us as we arrived late due to many accidents in the rain on our bus ride from Puerto Vallarta. |Breakfast was made to order. Very nice room and grounds.

Yelp
What a lovely bed and breakfast. Small lovely rooms and super accommodations! Loved the included breakfasts and coffee! And super affordable! What makes this place awesome though are the owners! They are amazing people and what a wonderful family! My first time to Guadalajara, and I have to say it was amazing! What a great city! A great location, just a few blocks from their downtown, which is fabulous!

Yelp
Small with very friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful grounds and clean, quiet, private rooms. Located within easy walking distance to the center of town.

Yelp
We spent 3 nights here while touring the Guadalajara area. The owners are exceptionally nice and our room was well maintained and clean. They serve a continental breakfast included with your room and for 25-35 pesos more have eggs, bacon or omelette. There is a wonderful back yard to enjoy-even a pet bunny rabbit and turtle. We came here initially because they allow reasonably sized dogs and had parking included just 2 blocks away. But we managed to find a space each afternoon on the street right in front. The art, craft and restaurant area is just 100 meters north. We really enjoyed our stay!!
