Probably the freshest , tastiest meat I've had in a fajita in awhile. I actually ate everything. This was amazing 👏. I will be back when in the area. If your looking for a place in the area do not miss out.

This is a good Mexican restaurant. It is clean and there is plenty of seating. The service is polite, friendly and prompt. Apparently, they do not have black beans though. The food is good and the atmosphere is festive and bright. They have a huge covered outdoor patio that looks brand new too.

Absolutely love this place. Always clean, friendly people and now they have an outside patio. Awesome. Never had a bad experience here and the many times I've went. I came here at my boyfriends behest. It wasn't bad at all. The service was awesome. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The only real problem I had was the drive. This place is 50 minutes from my house. And the entrance is next to a weirdly busy Duncan donuts. Any way, I would definitely go again. And I would sit outside.

I had the three Enchiladas with rice and beans. It was excellent you always end up eating the Enchiladas first and have left overs on the beans and rice. They always give you tortilla chips and salsa. So finishing off the rice and beans I mix them both up with salsa and use the chips for dipping into the rice and beans. Its delicious like that! I had their strawberry margarita which was delicious also. Prices were reasonable also. I believe my bill was 24.00.

The food and service was very good. The only complaint was that we sat in front in the booth which acted like an echo chamber. When a group of young men came in, waiting to be seated, they were so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other talk. Overall the restaurant is good, but they need to have a larger lobby for people who are waiting for their table.

This has been a local hangout for lunch that friends and I have been to for the past couple of years. We typically dine outside in the new pavilion addition during the summer. This is a clean and friendly place for any food event.

Been to Mexico and all the states along the border. Never did I think that Wadsworth, OH Casa Del Rio would be some of the best I've ever had. Excellent food, great people. Don't miss out!

I moved out of town a few years ago and every time I come home... mandatory casa trip. I get the #59 with cilantro, pineapple salsa on the side. Staff are dual languages, fast and friendly. This is a Wadsworth staple for a reason.

Best margarita's in Wadsworth! Dine in and carry out are both always successful. We have never had a bad meal here. Even on the busy nights food is still served to us hot and correctly.

I was at CDR on Sunday 4/27/2025. I think I was one of the last customers to arrive. They did not rush me at all. But the main event was the food. I got the combination with two Chili Relleno. They were fantastic. The batter was very good and egg rich which was amazing considering the price of eggs. Compared to most places the Chili Rellenos were fantastic. (Almost to the degree of Villa Y Zapota [my gold standard] or the now-closed Luchita W 117.). I would rate them "A" for sure!!! If you love Chili Relleno, this is the place to come!

I love this place so much I had my birthday dinner here. The food is classic Mexican, done well. It's authentic. The "boss" is Mexican as are many of the servers. They are great at making accommodations like pushing tables together, changing up menu items, etc. I don't drink, but my friends said the margaritas were great. It's a fun atmosphere out on the patio, which is covered.

Casa is without a doubt, one of the best!... I eat at restaurants three weeks out of every month as I travel for business and travel internationally for fun. Casa would hold its own to any of the restaurants that I frequent. Flavors are excellent, service is truly exceptional and I've never had a better margarita!

Come hungry! Portions are huge! We were able to be seated right away even though on a Sunday afternoon, the place was crowded. Chips, salsa, utensils and menus were brought right away to our table. Shortly afterward, our server took our drink and guacamole order. Very nice, helpful and attentive staff! The guacamole was good; very fresh and tasty! For my meal, I ordered the Azteca Sampler. Delicious! Loved it and had enough for two meals. Enjoyed having both chicken and beef in it. My spouse really liked the burro he ordered. It was also big enough for two meals. All food is freshly prepared here. The margarita--also delicious! Prices are really good here too. Enjoyed eating here!

I absolutely love going to Casa del Rio! The food tastes great, is affordable, and the people who work there are extremely friendly. I couldn't recommend a better restaurant to go to!

This location is very busy! The servers are very attentive to our needs! Food is good too. The reason for this low star rating is .... There is hardly any room to move at this restaurant. You are in your neighbors lap and god forbid they know someone walking by, they will stand there with their purses or kids in your dinner plate. If you are claustrophobic... this is not the place for you! If you are a couple going out to eat, they place you at a table that barely fits you and your drinks let alone the dinner plates. Yikes! Not much you can do other than ... Take out!!!!!!

The food here was amazing. The service was prompt and accurate. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable of the dishes and attentive to our needs. We had a rather large group and our server did an amazing job. The restaurant was clean and well kept. We absolutely will go again.

One of my favorite Mexican places in the area! I ordered the #43 fajitas and as always they were great! Meat was cooked perfectly and the veggies had a lot of flavor. The staff is always very friendly and fun! I don't remember there being an outdoor eating area in the past but maybe it was added due to COVID but I enjoyed eating outside!

I can see, after having dinner here, why this place is so busy and so well-rated. It's definitely one of your best meal options in the area. I'm not sure how well it compares to other Mexican restaurants in the area, but then again, I don't feel the need to check. First, there's those drinks, particularly those margaritas, that come in sturdy, Holy Grail sized goblets. When we raised them to toast, some folks at the table needed to hold them with both hands. You get about twice as much margarita here as you might for the same price at similar restaurants out my way. Follow that with warm, delicious chips and good salsa. Then there's your food, brought out quite fast, and lots of it. This was the first time in a long time that for an order of fajitas, I actually got enough tortillas to use everything on the plate without having to ask for more. Larger groups might have a problem being seated together during busier hours, so consider being willing to break into smaller groups... fewer hands grabbing your drinks that way too.

This review can be short and sweet: Casa del Rio checks all the boxes for what I expect from your town Mexican joint. They're highly rated, and I suppose that's mostly for the service and atmosphere. For me, you can't really go wrong with whatever you bring out to me at a Mexican restaurant. What is this? Did I order enchiladas, tacos, a burrito, tamales? I donno, but dang this looks good. Naturally, every table is served with complimentary chips and salsa. Of course, I always recommend a bowl of guac to go along with it. Most meals come out with rice, beans, and a little salad. Prices are already good, but come by at lunch for the best deals. Service really is fast, friendly, and unbeatable. It's worth even a drive out of your way to eat here.

I remember enjoying Casa Del Rio when we lived in Wadsworth. I picked up carry out on my way through Wadsworth and ordered chicken fajitas. The chicken was SO DRY, salty, and unpleasant. The entire thing went straight in the trash. The side plate was watery lettuce, a tablespoon of guacamole and a small squirt of sour cream. I'll be sure to drive by next time. Salsa and chips were good... and my dinner. Bummer.

Friendly and as always incredibly fast service. One of our favorites in the area for Mexican. You can also see how hard they are trying to keep everything safe with the regulations. They have a HUGE heated outdoor tent in the back too. Their queso is so good.

It's a taste of Mexico. Though food is way better than what you get down there. Really like ordering their al la cart offerings.

Fantastic, quick, affordable! Casa Del Rio is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area and a place I recommend to everyone who is looking for great Mexican food. Being located directly off the highway is convenient for almost anyone. The parking lot is always full but don't let that make you hesitant because there is plenty of seating available. I didn't have to wait long despite how busy the parking lot was. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. As I was seated the chips and salsa were placed on the table and waters quickly followed. I ordered the super burrito and asked if I could swap the protein options with chorizo. The chorizo is one of the best I've had out of any other Mexican restaurants I've been to. The food came out almost as quick as I ordered it. The water and salsa were refilled throughout my meal without needing to ask. I always look forward to coming back here.

No wonder the parking lot was packed when we first arrived! You are in for a real treat at Casa Del Rio! Rare do I ever comment about our excursions to Mexican Restaurants, but the staff here runs like a well oiled machine! The owner is even out on the floor like a true team player making sure his guests have everything they need to enjoy their time there. We had a party of 8 and were seated in less time than promised. The menu has an abundance of authentic Mexican Treats. Everyone enjoyed their food and we all had leftovers, since the portions were more than filling! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We'll definitely be back.

Our favourite Mexican joint in the Akron area. We live out of state now; still haven't found a Mexican restaurant better than Casa. We can't come to town without getting it at least once.

What can be said? This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area! Plenty of parking, a lot of seating at tables and booths in a colorful and festive atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and accommodating when a substitution is requested. The generous potions of their outstanding food is served very quickly, and their frozen margaritas are quite refreshing! My wife and I are regular visitors, and so will you once you try their food, but get there early or you will have to wait!

Casa Del Rio is my family's and my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The foods really good, portions plentiful. We usually order it to go to eat at home and they don't scrimp on the portions for to go orders. Love their #41 with chicken, that's mine and my husbands usual order. Casa is always busy and a local favorite.

As we continue our quest to go to the entire list of the top 20 Mexican restaurants in Cleveland proper today we are going to #2 today. They sure know how to pick them. This was awesome. We passed it up the first time as it is a bit tucked behind the Marathon. We also found out that they are opening a second location in Fairlawn. A bit closer for us but we'd certainly make the trip back to Wadsworth. I had a skirt steak dish with ham and bacon and poblano peppers. What a perfect kick in spices. I put it in a corn tortilla. My husband even had one of mine as I could t drop raving about it. And of course a sangria to top it off.

We have been going since they opened. Our #1 Mexican restaurant by huge margin over any other. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have not found anything we did not like. Orders come out pretty quick and are hot. The food is fresh and great tasting and portion sizes big enough to have you waddling back to the car if you can eat them without getting a to go box for later. We have always had stellar service, everyone is very friendly and takes care of you.

I have literally been meaning to review this place forever. My family dines here at least once a month, sometimes once a week. It's consistent and it's good. The staff is incredibly friendly and they work hard. I even regularly see one of the owners busting his butt to ensure great customer experiences. This place consistently gives back to their community and will participate in school fundraisers. I honestly can't say enough about how much I enjoy the employees here. The food is typical Mexican fare. It's always fast, fresh, and reliably good. Their salsa and queso are some of the best of any Mexican restaurant that I've had. Also, they don't mess around with their margaritas. They put the tequila on top of their frozen margaritas so you have to stir it, but it's great because then you can actually see that it has tequila in it. All of the food (with the exception of one lunch burrito) that I've ever had has always been delicious. Some of the ones we love are the chimichangas, fajitas, la bamba nachos, el tapatio, chili verde burrito, burritos Deshebrada, and their new tacos de Al pastor. Love this place.

The most overhyped restaurant in. It's not good. Way overpriced. They always forget items. They always overcharge you.

We love to visit casa for dinners when we have a lot of people to feed. This restaurant is a lot of fun and the quality of food and service is consistent.

Very conveniently located right off the exit from 76. Really solid overall. It was packed on a rainy Sunday lunch yet we got seated quickly, and waited on very promptly. Our waiter was engaging and attentive. We did not have to flag him down for refills and he checked in most every time he walked by! Our drinks came quickly with the complimentary chips and salsa. My wife loved the chips - warm and very little salt (I had to add salt), and liked the salsa - mild and flavorful ( I added some hot sauce). Her chipotle quesadilla was very tasty - loved the bacon in it - but it could have used a bit more cheese. Margarita was large & good. The fajita de la casa was also good. Well seasoned and cooked like I asked - well done. Net a repeat if we are in the area again.

Casa Del Rio is a small Mexican restaurant just off of I-76 in Wadsworth. They offer a clean, quality, and authentic Latino environment at a pretty reasonable cost. We arrived late in a Thursday evening and to our surprise, the place was packed! However, though there was a line peeking out the door when we arrived, we were met with but only a 5 minute wait to get a table. Thereafter, we promptly received our drinks, and issued our dinner orders: I opted for their Quesadilla Supreme. (Steak and cheese, with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and pico on the side) Not much long after, our food arrived. The presentation was very respectable, and the flavor was excellent! The tortilla was finely toasted, and the steak cooked perfectly. For the sides, the lettuce, pico, and guacamole were very fresh and tasty as well. My only complaint was they used VERY low fat sour cream, and consequently, the latter had a very thin watery taste to it. However, this is admittedly subjective, and will not affect my rating. The service was excellent! Our waiter was very polite, and kept us stocked on drinks our entire visit. All in all, if your looking for a quality Mexican restaurant that does everything right without costing you 1 arm and 1 leg, (~$25-30 for 2 people) look no further than Casa Del Rio. The food is excellently presented, very tasty, and the staff is very friendly. Highly Recommended!

I have been here a countless number of times over the years. It is great for cheap Mexican-American food. Chips and salsa come out right away and water is always refilled quickly. I would definitely recommend to a fried.

Talk about MASSIVE portions! I thought the prices were a bit high for Ohio and Mexican food but my burrito was literally bigger than my head. I got a margarita and I'm not sure if it was cheaper alcohol or what but felt sick immediately. The food was good just too much. Nice atmosphere but tables a bit close. Definitely recommend side items if not super hungry.
