We had a wonderful night in the hostel - 9 of us had hired 2x 5 bedroom rooms, which were lovely, clean and airy. There was plenty of room, 4 bathrooms each with shower and a large kitchen, with lots of nicely presented dry good to use. There was a sun terrace, from which you could see the volcano and a nice garden terrace with plenty of shade.||||Francesca was lovely - very helpful especially telling us that the weather was due to be poor the next day and the ferry might leave early. We only spoke Italian, but I believe she spoke some English as well.||||There is a fantastic little black sand beach, about 50 feet from the hostel, which has quite a lot of shade. ||||I would certainly stay here again. It's basic, but perfectly adequate.||||If you have a chance, walk up the volcano but also take Antonio's boat tour at sunset around the bay to look at the lava.

Hi. I have been 5 nights at this place in a shared dorm. Really nice place with the following advantages:||- really nice location: far away from the village, very quite place. Wonderful panoramic patio (view on the sea and on Stromboli - some big explosions can be seen from there!). Small beach really close, with some shade.||- really nice internal patio, with hammocks||- shared kitchen with everything useful||||I was there alone, I could speak to many people very fastly. Moreover people come from many different countries; really cool place to meet people.||Francesca keep it really clean. Discreet and nice people.|||| So: I have to go back there, and I know I will!

I booked Casa del Sole having read all the reviews on Trip Advisor.||||Very basic accommodation, a good distance from the port, so its hard work carting all the luggage through the windy streets and main town. ||||The rooms were clean, but there were no mosquito nets on any of the windows or doors, and the rooms had no air conditioning, so I ended up being rather hot and a good meal for all the mosquitos in the room (even with 50% deet all over my body)! No WiFi either, but we can live with that. Would have been great if breakfast was an option to add on to the room, as we were very hungry the morning after trekking for 6 hours up the volcano. ||||Taking the longish walk from the port aside. The patio area was a decent size. The roof top terrace was a good spot to gaze up and the volcano. The walk back from town was dark, but that is what is magical about Stromboli, they have no street lights. The perfect getaway from the madness of working in a City.||||All in all, for the price we paid, we got exactly what we expected on one of the most remote islands in the Med.

We booked this last minute. It was the only affordable place to sleep on the island, everything else was booked full. We paid 70€ without breakfast wich was a bit above our budget. The room itself was good, but the badroom (toilet and shower) are shared with other guests. A toilet, were someone didnt flush well, next to you isnt the most attractive place to take a shower. Overall the place was good enough to sleep 1 night.

Stromboli, very little island wit two villages, Stromboli and Ginostra. This guest house is located almost at the end of Stromboli, but anyway near to the city centre which is 15 minutes far walking. When you arrive in the harbour, you can either walk or take a taxi - you cannot arrive in Stromboli with your car (I don't know if it is really forbidden, but anyway there is no space to park and the streets are too narrow, infact the taxis are little cars like golf cars).||The guest house is in a very quiet area, close to several beaches, and we were welcomed by the owner, Francesca, who kindly explained us where to find what we need. Close by there are two supermarkets, a couple of bars and restaurants, and there is also the path which lead to the back of the volcano from where you can also see the explosions - it is about 30 min from the guesthouse.||The guesthouse has several private rooms and also some shared rooms. We used a private double room with bathroom inside, it was very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen where we prepared our dinner sometime, that we have eaten on the terrace - the highlight of the guesthouse! From here you can eat or drink looking at the sunset, and Strombolicchio in front of you. Simply wonderful.

It is located about 1km apart from center of the town.||So It's very peaceful, quiet. Near the hostel, there is a beautiful mud beach.||You can reach the panoramic point for the fire work of volcano just for 20-30 minutes by walk. ||Rooms are pretty and clean. Staffs are so friendly. ||I enjoyed peaceful rest here.

Lovely hostel type place to stay. Away from the more tourist side of the village with a lovely small secluded beach about 50m away and a nice 20 minute walk to a pizza restaurant with a view over the lava field.||Rooms, beds and public spaces were spotless and well looked after. The kitchen was well stocked and big enough to cook for everyone easily.

We had some wonderful days at Casa del sole. The place has an enchanting little garden and view from the roof terrace. We slept at a fine six person dorm. The only thing we would have preferred to be a little bit better was the bathroom facilities.
