"Pan & Oliva Restaurant Pan & Oliva is part of the Zuccardi family’s mini empire that has been operating in Mendoza for three generations. In the 1980s, Jose Alberto took over the Maipu winery from his father and began producing higher quality wines under the label Santa Julia, named after Jose’s only daughter. Ten years ago, Jose’s youngest son began producing extra virgin olive oil from olives harvested on the family’s estate. You can try both at Zuccardi’s restaurant Pan & Oliva, which is part restaurant and part delicatessen. You can also pair lunch with a cooking class and winery visit. The service can be slow, but the pasta portions are large, the salads are fresh, and you can close out your lunch with a decadent olive oil chocolate brownie with olive oil ice cream. Ruta Provincial 33, km 7.5 Fray Luis Beltran, Maipu, Mendoza; +54 261 441 0000"

This place is incredible! We selected a “Summer menu” simpler option and it was more than enough for two. The food is incredible and the wine that goes with it is perfect (and unlimited). You can enjoy empanadas outside overlooking the preparation process. After the meal a coffee in the garden will top the experience. A little hint: if you book a dinner the tour of the winery and wine tasting there is free. Enjoy!

Amazing experience! We did the picnic in the gardens and the environment and atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The service was exquisite and the value for money was brilliant. A must visit in Mendoza.

This is one of the two restaurants in Zuccardi family vineyard. Worth every cent. Great experience. Wine is paired with every dish. Big tables. Cozy place. Good music. Excellent service. Did the wine tasting in the wine producing building facility first, and then came to have lunch here. This is usually offered as a visiting package.

If you are trying to decide which bodega restaurant to visit while in Mendoza then look no further. Casa del Visitante is a must! This is a five star restaurant in a beautiful building. The meal commences outside with perfectly cooked empanadas served with wine, then returns inside. The tour of the winery is included with the meal, which we were late for because we were enjoying our meal so much. Do we dissuaded by Santa Julia being a high volume winery, it is a great bodega and worth the trip. Highly recommended!!

Great dining experience. We had a view of the outdoor ovens and grill from our seat. Traditional style and great pairing.

Prices are high. The best empanadas in the area. Stay relax outside before coming inside. Enjoy the empanadas and the wine. Then get inside and eat the best rib eye on the area! Look it's a five star restaurant for a reason. You will receive great attention and the best serving wines. Eat slow, enjoy the food, and have fun with people around you. Just an improvement or feedback: have a better air conditioning, have 5 selections instead of 2, and have a better restaurant name.

Great place for meat. I had the pleasure to talk to the parrilleros and showed me around the kitchen. Incredible setup!

A wonderful experience! Delicious food and wonderful wine pairings. I'm still thinking about my visit there. You will not regret a stop here on your next wine tasting trip to Mendoza.

Yelp
Casa del Visitante is the restaurant for the Bodega Zuccardi in Maipu, Mendoza, Argentina. While we ate there using a pre-fixed menu for a group of 17, it is also possible to arrive with any number and order from the chalkboards above the kitchen area. The food is trendy, well presented and very tasty. All of us had a pre-appetizer with home-made breads and various dips; an appetizer with a slice of bread, cream cheese, fresh tomato slices, prosciutto and various herbs; lasagna with parma ham and various cheeses; a dessert with fresh fruit, ice cream and chopped nuts. With that we were serve four wines, two whites, a red and champagne. I didn't know the price but I'm going to assume that it was reasonable. Highly recommended.
