16 Best Restaurants in Sicily for Mount Etna Sunsets, Local Wine, and Next-Level Street Food | Condé Nast Traveler
"Set just below Agrigento’s Temple of Concordia in the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples, this gently renovated farm turned family-run restaurant and cooking school wraps around a pretty cobbled courtyard only a few feet from a beautifully preserved Roman temple. Behind the warmly lit barn-like dining room—lined with chicken-wire cabinets displaying the area’s history—and its flavor-packed, home-cooked classics like bean stews, traditional pasta, moreish baked ricotta, and pumpkin focaccia with a warm, pillowy center lies a strong sustainable mission to boost organic production of the park’s native bounty: pistachios, almonds, saffron, ancient grains, olives, and traditional fruits. You can deepen your sense of the project by booking tasting sessions and cooking workshops, including a four-hour baking class with Casa Diodoros’s pizza chef to master traditional Sicilian breads and pizzas topped with seasonal ingredients from the park’s own larder." - Rosalyn Wikeley
We weren’t very happy with the food and expected more based on the Google reviews. They were preparing for an event, so they only offered pizza and focaccia. Both were very simple but priced like a full meal. The dessert and coffee, however, were good.

They have a restaurant, and great red wine, best meal and wine we had in Sicily. We visited a few Michelin recommended restaurants, but hands down this is the best food and wine we had so far, and I didn't find it in any guide, just stumbled opon it by chance.

The food is amazing! The best eggplant Parmesan we have had in Italy, the summer salad is full of fresh deliciousness & the red wine was spectacular. 100%!

This has been one of our two best meals in Sicily so far. Every dish was wonderful, fresh and tasty. Even the focaccia with olive oil was the best we’ve had. And the setting is unbeatable. Normally restaurants near or in tourist areas coast on their location, but not this one. We’ll be coming back just for the restaurant.

Great location, lovely view. Middle of the road food. Don’t order the pasta with vegetable, in reality it’s vegetable soup with vermicelli

We visited the restaurant now existing here and had lunch. The place is magic and the food we had was fine. But way too little to be labelled "a degustation" and to be priced consistently with that label.

Amazing concept with local products being the stars of simple but tasty dishes. A great way to calm down and take a break from the sights...
