Wonderful, homely and friendly restaurant with different daily meals (alternating between fish and meat main courses) along with soup, starters and dessert. The owner sources all the food from local farms and makes everything with a lot of love and care. We had bacalhao pataniscas and the cheese and olives and Molotov dessert was fantastic! Cozy interiors and wonderful service, don't miss this place.

A lovely experience. Arrived at 11.45am today, wanting lunch; we were served a lovely vegetable soup followed by cod fish cakes, rice & veg. Fairly priced and a sweet lady serving us. I LOVED this shop. Beautifully decorated and enchanting. I'd recommend anyone to go there even if it's not to stop and eat.

I've never been so disrespected and poorly treated. On São João's eve they where cooking some sardines with a barbecue outside, in the sidewalk, I saw that and approached carefully, trying to be the politest, and asked if they were selling those sardines. The girl handling the barbecue didn't event looked at me, answered with a dry, short, and kinda furious "no", then turned his back to me and treated as if I weren't there. So rude, i'd never recommend this place, or come back to it.

Happy New New Year!!!🎉🥳🥰 last year me and my partner visited this beautiful restaurant and we absolutely loved it! Owner told us the story of this place and how it was handed down from generation to generation! There is even a little cupboard where the current owner used to sleep as a baby while his mother was working there. Really beautiful stories! Visit and support this place because Porto won’t be Porto without them ❤️ P.s. few 35mm photos from that day ✨🥳

We popped into this store randomly since it was near our hotel, and I am glad we did! The owner is very friendly, and told us to come back the next day for lunch. We did, and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 course meal he served us: vegetable soup, codfish fritters, and chocolate mousse topped with their handmade cookies. This was the best Portugese food I had on my trip, and it truly felt like we had homecooked food in someone's house. The meal was very affordable too.

A very nice surprise, it’s like going to your mom’s house and eat what she made for that day. There is also a small market with high quality products. Thank you for receiving us so well!

For sure the CUTEST place in town. Starting from the owners who are nice and welcoming. The food is delicious - bread from their own bakery is still warm, and their cakes are spectacular. The place is super cute, you truly feel at home. It’s worth buying some biscuits to take away.

WHAT A PLACE! If you have the opportunity to visit it, you MUST do it. High quality of typical products and very kind and polite staff!
