Pretty much an utterly delightful place to stay, in the heart of Matera. Once parked only 5 minutes away in a car park it was easy to get to. A boutique place with wonderful views from the breakfast area. Our various food tastes were catered for and delicious food provided each of our 2 mornings. Rooms were delightfully quirky and each unique in design and decor.. Check out the other reviews and they're all very complimentary. Love being here and a perfect base from which to explore Matera.

Casa Diva was an amazing find! The property is stunning, with so much attention to detail in both the design and atmosphere. What truly stood out, though, was the warm and personalized service. Eleonora made our check-in smooth and stress-free, and her recommendations were spot-on! they really helped us make the most of our time in the area. Caterina greeted us each morning at breakfast with such kindness and energy, setting the tone for a great day. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Casa Diva, the place is truly beautiful. But what made our experience even more special was the outstanding hospitality. Eleonora was incredibly helpful during check-in and gave us excellent recommendations that really enhanced our visit. We also want to recognize Caterina, who welcomed us to breakfast each morning with a big smile and a great attitude. Thank you both for making our stay so memorable!

Lovely place right in the centre of town.|Meticulously clean.|Rooms are cool but to be expected as is a converted cave.|Breakfast was superb. Lots of options with plenty for vegetarians.|Views of the city when sitting outside are great.|Would return.

We had a perfectly fine stay here. The facility was beautiful, very clean and Eleonora was very helpful and responsive. Upon our arrival the hotel was HOT, no air flow and no AC. We were shown to the cave room, which we loved, it was in the basement, clean and unique! We were told that the air conditioning 'comes from the floor' as well as the wall unit, but that fans were placed in the room to help cool. There was absolutely no cold air coming from the unit at all and it had to be close to 30 degrees in the room. We spoke with Eleonora in the morning regarding the AC not working and the sink drain being stuck, so we were moved to a different room - another unique spot! Once again the AC did not work in that room either, it was awful. We luckily only stayed two nights, could not have handled a third with the heat. Overall, it's a great space, great artwork, very well maintained and the sunrise on the terrace in the mornings is incredible! It would have been nice had they been honest with us about the AC, it was clearly not working at all in the facility because even the common areas were hot, and the fans everywhere offered no escape. Excellent location, very walkable. Front desk isn't 24hrs.

The service we received from Eleonora at Casa Diva was faultless. She was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about Matera (where to park, eat, what to see etc.). ||||As for the property…..Simply stunning! The reception and dining rooms are beautifully decorated. When we entered our cave (the uva suite) it was beyond amazing. Imagine Fred Flintstone won the lottery. ||||Carved out of the rock, the huge room has high ceilings, tasteful decor, two comfortable double beds (in separate areas), and fabulous clean and modern bathroom. There’s even a mini ‘en-suite’ cave with a Jucuzzi bath. ||||Another door leads to a large characterful terrace (shared with one other suite).||||The town of Matera should be on every bucket list, and is as friendly as it is unique.||||We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay at Casa Diva.

The house is breathtaking. An old noble mansion transformed in a charming B&B. The decor is done with great taste and even if moderns it is in fully harmony with the tradition. |The rooms are spacious and charming. The shower has great water pressure. Mattress and linen are top quality. |Service at reception and breakfast is friendly and efficient. |The rooftop terrace overlooking Matera is not to be missed. |One improvement suggestion: add ceiling fans for the hot season. |I recommend it and will return |CIAO

We had the most wonderful time stay in Casa Diva. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The service was exceptional and the staff was very accommodating, kind, and helpful. The location is very central to everything and there’s a parking nearby.
