What a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa do Bairro by Shiadu! From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly — they made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, with tasty options and a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was quiet, cosy and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, friendly place to stay. Would happily come back!

What a gem! Perfect location, with an easy, relaxed vibe that made us feel instantly at home. The staff was helpful and set us up with airport transfers and stored our bags ont he last day as well. The rooms are spacious, modern yet warm and welcoming — comfortable (great bed!) and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and varied each morning, and the shower had fantastic water pressure (a small detail that made a big difference!). The A/C worked great and the rooms was quiet as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa do Bairro by Shiadu! From the moment I checked in until my departure, everything was just perfect. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help with any request. Furthermore, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to start the day off right. My only wish was that I could have stayed longer! Thank you for making my visit so pleasant!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Casa do Bairro by Shiadu and I must say, it was an absolute delight! Tucked away in a peaceful corner yet just steps away from all the major attractions, the location couldn't be more perfect. The room was fantastic, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What made our experience even more memorable was the friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. Lisbon really blew us away, in large part due to this hotel! Cozy common area where you can really feel the warmth of the staff and the architecture. Our room looked onto gorgeous views of the city, great fresh breakfast, and the service was A+ beyond expectations. Location is downtown, in a quieter part which was what we preferred, and quite close to a nice lil lookout point. Seriously a super lovely stay!!!

I adored my stay at Casa do Bairro. If you want to feel as though you are living in a historic home, this is the place for you. The rooms are beautiful, and the hotel is tucked in the heart of a historic neighborhood. A quick walk to all the major neighborhoods and the waterfront. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is beautiful and full of great shops and cafes. I enjoyed the traditional Portuguese breakfast too! You will really feel like you are living the Lisbon life here. Would definitely stay at any Shiadu hotel in the future!!!

I booked this hotel for our last night in Lisbon after coming back from Sintra. Having read other reviews, I wanted so much to love this hotel, but I ended up being disappointed. Location - The area directly surrounding the hotel didn't feel safe. I wouldn't want to walk around there after dark. Also, to get to the main street you have to walk up some steep roads. -1 Hotel and room - I knew there would be stairs but there were SO MANY! We got the room on the top too. The reception area is cute and has water, tea, and pastries. There is a fridge with drinks for guests, billed to the room, using an honor system. The room itself was spacious and well laid out. But, there was a musty smell in the sleeping areas and especially the bathroom. I guess it's hard to air out because there are only small windows. The bedding had stains and the bed and pillows were musty and not comfortable. There were mosquitoes that tried to eat us all night. On top of that there was noise from our neighbors walking and also from drunk people singing outside. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. We got very little sleep. -1 Service - The service was very good. I had questions which were all answered by speedy emails. The receptionist was polite and pointed us to places to eat and buy what we needed. They also packed us snacks because we were leaving before breakfast in the morning. Reception is only open until 9 pm. +1 Price - Inexpensive compared to hotels in the area. +1 In summary, I really missed our room at Hotel Avenida Palace which was conveniently located and also had better rooms for better sleep. If cost isn't a major factor, I would recommend booking elsewhere.

This B&B is gem of a find! Staff & rooms are great! Close to tram# 28 which takes you literally everywhere. If ever you're in Lisbon, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended!
