We received a wonderful, warm welcome. They carefully considered our stay, provided helpful tips, provided a well-prepared breakfast, and all the staff were friendly. The availability of a shuttle service, luggage storage, and the genuine interest shown after a day exploring the city made us feel valued and cared for. Furthermore, it's a wonderfully well-maintained place with an ideal location for exploring Lisbon.

I adored my stay at Casa do Bairro. If you want to feel as though you are living in a historic home, this is the place for you. The rooms are beautiful, and the hotel is tucked in the heart of a historic neighborhood. A quick walk to all the major neighborhoods and the waterfront. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is beautiful and full of great shops and cafes. I enjoyed the traditional Portuguese breakfast too! You will really feel like you are living the Lisbon life here. Would definitely stay at any Shiadu hotel in the future!!!

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Casa do Bairro by Shiadu! The rooms are very functional, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. Starting the day with their delightful breakfast set the right tone every morning. Moreover, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced my visit. However, it's worth noting that the property has steep staircases, which might not be suitable for everyone. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a charming place to stay while exploring the city!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa do Bairro. Truly charming place with a lot of character. Very clean. Really nice, large rooms with a beautiful view. Delicious, full breakfast with products from the farm. Location is perfect for exploring Lisbon. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Denise, Clara and everyone else who made our stay special. A very warm, responsive, and helpful staff with a great sense of humor. They were always kind and ready to assist whenever needed, providing excellent travel tips and advice. The breakfast was rich and included traditional Portuguese dishes. Our family greatly appreciated the daily variety of meal components—different quiches, warm sandwiches, cakes and pastries, fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade jams, and the option to enjoy coffee or tea outside breakfast hours. Comfortable beds with extra blankets. Thorough daily cleaning. A great place to stay while in Lisbon. Would gladly return.

I booked this hotel for our last night in Lisbon after coming back from Sintra. Having read other reviews, I wanted so much to love this hotel, but I ended up being disappointed. Location - The area directly surrounding the hotel didn't feel safe. I wouldn't want to walk around there after dark. Also, to get to the main street you have to walk up some steep roads. -1 Hotel and room - I knew there would be stairs but there were SO MANY! We got the room on the top too. The reception area is cute and has water, tea, and pastries. There is a fridge with drinks for guests, billed to the room, using an honor system. The room itself was spacious and well laid out. But, there was a musty smell in the sleeping areas and especially the bathroom. I guess it's hard to air out because there are only small windows. The bedding had stains and the bed and pillows were musty and not comfortable. There were mosquitoes that tried to eat us all night. On top of that there was noise from our neighbors walking and also from drunk people singing outside. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. We got very little sleep. -1 Service - The service was very good. I had questions which were all answered by speedy emails. The receptionist was polite and pointed us to places to eat and buy what we needed. They also packed us snacks because we were leaving before breakfast in the morning. Reception is only open until 9 pm. +1 Price - Inexpensive compared to hotels in the area. +1 In summary, I really missed our room at Hotel Avenida Palace which was conveniently located and also had better rooms for better sleep. If cost isn't a major factor, I would recommend booking elsewhere.

This B&B is gem of a find! Staff & rooms are great! Close to tram# 28 which takes you literally everywhere. If ever you're in Lisbon, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended!
