This is a cool hotel. Mix of modern and mid century motifs that come across as inviting and hip. The staff are excellent. They do a fantastic job. The breakfast is wonderful Honestly the staff is what really makes the difference. You will like it. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience here. Beautiful room. Nice staff and amazing breakfast. A bit out of the way from the tourist areas (20 min walk) but very much worth it at the reasonable rates they were charging.

We absolutely loved our 5 days in Porto staying at the Casa do Conto hotel. The staff are amazing and helped us with bookings and how to get to places in Porto. The breakfast was really good and the room was really smart, clean and spacious. We would highly recommend staying here.

Unique, comfortable, quiet and perfectly situated in lovely Porto, Casa do Conto provided a warm welcome and a desire to meet our every need. Each morning brought a very fresh, delicious breakfast hosted by a cheerful, dedicated hostess. Without pause, Casa do Conto has the kindest staff in Portugal. We recommend the accommodation to all!

Absolutely loved this hotel but it has one major flaw that should be fixed ASAP. First the good. Rooms are beautiful, spacious, unique, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. My omelette was perfectly made every morning and the freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent. There is quite a bit of noise when you leave the windows open but you hear almost nothing when the windows are closed. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating. They really want to make sure you're happy and comfortable. Now for the major flaw... you cannot enter the building on your own... you must ring the bell for someone to let you in. And more than once there was no one at the front desk so I stood outside for a good 10 min waiting in the hot sun while my takeout food was getting cold. This is EXTREMELY frustrating to have to deal with. I got anxiety every time I walked back to the hotel because I had no idea how long I'd be waiting. This reason alone is enough for me to avoid this hotel in the future which is a real shame because they got so many other things right! They really should invest in providing all the guests with keys for the front door or installing some kind of access code at the entrance.

Good sized rooms. Well equipped. The concrete ceiling with cast in letters reminded me of tomb stones though...

I had a wonderful stay. The service was outstanding, the room was extremely clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It is in a quiet area of town and still near a metro and very walkable to the main sights. The staff went above and beyond in welcoming guests.

This is a place you don't want to leave! The staff is amazing. Viana went above and beyond to make your stay very pleasant. She is cheerful, friendly and a problem solver. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. A lot of options including yogurt, fruit, meats, cheeses, bread, crepes and granola. This place has a beautiful garden area in the back of the breakfast area. We felt very safe and it was convenient to public transport. We will be back!!

This is a great hotel somewhat off the beaten path in Porto. Don't let that deter you though. It's about a 10 min walk to the downtown area. It's uniquely designed and the staff members were more than accommodating. They helped us with directions, gave us a tour of our room and also helped us with transportation. While staying here, my travel partner got sick, and the staff retrieved various items for her even though everything was closed (tea, ice, etc.). We had to leave super early in the AM and they still made us breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if I was visiting Porto.
