Literally felt like a literal queen staying here, it was so nice, lush and it smelt amazing!!! From all the staff to the delicious breakfast everything was 10/10!! I can wait to go back, so if your lucky enough to stay and they have the availability take this as your sign and book rn!! Its in such a prime location so you wont miss a thing! There’s a gym and co-working space near by as well as a train station and huge market so go for it and I can assure you you’ll be glad you did!!

We’ve spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved it! The rooms are so cute and decorated with love, the staff is super friendly and the breakfast was amazing! Location is 10/10, you can walk everywhere pretty fast because it’s so central. Absolutely would recommend! :)

An excellent, clean and beautiful hotel. They checked in even earlier than the official time, even though I had just asked to leave our suitcases. Very friendly owners - they explained everything and sent us lots of recommendations. The only major downside is the noise from the street. It’s very loud until about 3 am and then trams start running around 7–8 am. If you close the windows and turn on the air conditioning, you can’t hear the street, but I personally don’t like sleeping with the windows fully closed. Other than that, everything was great. The location is very convenient - just a five-minute walk to the main square, with lots of nice cafes and public transport nearby. At breakfast, they serve delicious homemade pastéis

We had the BEST experience at Casa do Mercado! The rooms were so beautifully styled and well kept, but the highlight was the service! The entire team was so welcoming and accommodating. We cannot recommend staying here enough!

It’s a lovely boutique hotel, with lovely staff and nice touches. In the heart of Lisbon , easy reach of many attractions , it’s a perfect base for a Lisbon city break except for those with mobility issues as there’s no lift and very steep stairs . A slightly weird layout as the reception is in the street behind the rooms , and accessed by a different door , the staff are very helpful and all becomes clear . The rooms are pleasant and clean , I suppose they are all slightly different , which is nice . Comfy beds, large bathroom with a window ( all double glazed ) just as well as this is a noisy part of town . Take a plug if you want a bath or to hold water in the basin . Great shower , hair drier , fridge in room , they will help with luggage if the stairs make it difficult. Nice continental breakfast , fresh fruit, yogurt and meats and cheeses . Perfect hotel for the able bodied in a great position .

Family and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and cozy, the shower was hot and strong, and the balcony was a great plus. I typically avoid concierge suggestions but all of Pedro’s recommendations were perfect and greatly added to our Lisbon experience. Breakfast was light but had enough variety and heartiness to get us through long mornings of walking. 100% recommend.

Mother and daughter trip to Lisbon. We enjoyed our stay at Casa do Mercado very much. It was walkable to most places, near the river and lots of eating places. Our room was very clean, and we especially liked that it had wooden floors instead of carpets. Our twin beds, on request, were comfortable. We had enough hanging space and some shelves for clothes etc. There was a kettle, and tea, coffee and sugar. We would have liked some powdered milk, though. The bathroom was also clean, with good shower pressure.|This is an old house, made into a guest house. The rooms are in a different section of the house to the reception and breakfast area. You have to go outside from your room, and around the corner to have breakfast. This was not a problem at all. Breakfast was adequate, we loved the fresh orange juice. |The only gripe we have, is the noise from the bars outside, especially on Saturday night. But we would definitely stay here again.
