Food is amazing,prices very good, ambient and staff AMAZING. THE FOOD WAS THE BEST IN SOME TIME. THE ROOM WAS GREAT SIMPLE AND COZY,THE VIEW IS NICE WITH THE SEA A FEW BLOCKS AWAY. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND A CAME BACK IN MY BOOK.

I visited the restaurant for lunch and had choco. The food was fantastic, and the service was friendly and prompt. The view is great with outdoor seating giving glimpses of the ocean. The central location means this restaurant is probably in easy walking distance.

Great restaurant. (Not a hotel) Located next door to Sotto Maior. Good food, good service. Nice place for a special evening out.

We came for a 3-day stay to this hotel & restaurant, guided by its web references and Booking. And it was much better than expected: it is a cozy hotel (6 rooms), it has a very good and fancy restaurant, and a wsimming pool. It is located within walking distance to the shore (beach) and downtown, and we had a relaxing experience.

This is without a doubt a place we recommend. The food “Costeletao” is definitely the best in town the sides are very good too. The music is soft and very appropriate for an enjoyable meal. The staff is very attentive, Jose and his colleagues are very professional and polite. Highly recommended.

It's a new management, and the behaviour from the owners is disgusting (and from what I see in the comments, more people had the same experience): we wanted to book 7 rooms through Booking for the New Year's Eve. Since we were a big group, we called them to be sure it would be ok and ask some questions. The person we spoke with made it clear that it would be fine. After some hours, they removed everything from Booking, they changed all the conditions (much more expensive, minimum 2 nights). On the phone, the owner made it clear: "These are our conditions, take it or leave". Extremely rude. This new management is very bad. And being so greedy will not help the business.

We were the first guests that evening, so we enjoyed the staff's full attention. Our waiter really seemed to care about us and therefore made a good impression. I followed his advice and enjoyed a main course of fresh grouper with clam rice seasoned with coriander leaves. The bottle of local white wine was only 22€ and went well with the fish. However, my two friends regretted they ordered the chicken breast with roast potatoes. Chicken breast either needs a serious marinade or some kind of sauce to reduce its basically dry taste. Alternatively serve chicken thighs and wings instead.

Beautiful hotel that has recently been|refurbished. The hotel provides a high standard of service and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant offers an excellent menu and good quality food with a fantastic selection of wines. This place really is a little gem.
