Casa Florida Hotel & Spa

I recently visited this hotel for a day package, and my experience was not good.||The swimming pools were a highlight, with separate areas for adults and children, which was a nice touch. The food was also good. However, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired.||One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of activities. The game room was poorly equipped and very limited. To make things worse, when I asked the receptionist for the key to access the games, she acted as though we were disturbing her, which was very unwelcoming.||With little to do other than swimming, we ended up leaving earlier than planned. While this place might work if you're just looking for a pool day, don't expect engaging activities or warm hospitality.||It needs to be improved.

Went there with friends but honestly i don't recommend this hotel at all. 1. Juice was served instead of cocktails drinks as mentioned in the package. 2.The toilet was dirty. 3.The restaurant is not cleaned and the tables were sticky. Yuck!!! 4. The piscine also is not that cleaned. 5.For lunch, we were offered mixed grilled plater and soft drink. To be noted the lamb was undercooked and the fish was so dry. On top of that, the first soft drink bottle offered was expired and when complained they changed the bottle and the second bottle also was expired. At last we were said that they will served us in glasses. That's ridiculous. Don't the staffs check the products before serving? Overall, the meal was very average and the experience was so bad. Never going there again. A total waste of money.

Terrible day experience....first on the arrival I had to wait a lot at the reception. The woman working at the reception was very rude. So much arrogance....she was talking to me as if I was disturbing her. Dude..it's ur job to greet and welcome clients.. what's wrong in doing just a nice guesture...u should train your staffs. I book my spa treatment 2 weeks ago. It was at 1hr. Nobody came to fetch me for the spa I kept on waiting. So insulting. On top of that I went to ask at the reception the lady seems that she is not concerned about it. The food was terrible and cold. Even the snacks I order at the restaurant were not worth eating it. Improve ur quality dube.

Very nice stay at Casa Florida , we were 2 adults , 1 teen and 3 kids , |Positive points : |The room very nice and clean.|A lots of activities to do.|The Staffs very kind and caring.|Nice Breakfast.|Lunch tasty.|Points to work on:|Safe to be change , batteries hold by a tape not professional. |Activities Equipment needs to be change .|Dinner needs more effort, cold and not so tasty .|Lack of animation.|Overall a nice stay , the kids enjoyed the pool and the activities , with just some changes Casa Florida can be the best 2 Stars hotel in Mauritius ,thanks to the team , Housekeeping ladies so smiling and kind as well as the Restaurant team , special mention to Jean the cook , we ordered some samoussa after the closing time and still he prepared it for us .|We will definitely come back soon.|

As a regular customer I'm puzzled and sorry to update my review of this establishment in the negative. The place has many weak spots, but all in all is decent accommodation for (completely) unpretentious holiday makers with a nice disposition and some patience. I always referred to the manager Clement for my bookings and payments, but he suddenly stopped replying to my messages without giving me the opportunity to review the bill before paying for the very last bit of our staying (their bills have a very different format from what I'm used to). I handled the payment myself, shortly before leaving, only to be accused of skipping the bill (with my wife and our 4 year old with me, who would do that?) To this day the manager has not replied to several attempts to clarify or even to a friendly greeting message from our son. Their slogan is “come as a customer leave as a friend,” I'm not sure that is how they really feel, and I'm sure that is not how you deal with customers or friends.

Hello||So i booked Casa Florida for end of December 2024.||The hotel is clean but in the morning there was no water to refresh yourself!! And we had to wait till evening to get water in the room.||The room was quite old and needed a maintenance.||Their quality of food is not that good.|We were on a full board basis|You do not get many options to choose from;only 1 main dish per person.||We ordered food for lunch and had to wait for around 1hr as there was only 1 guy cooking for around 50-60 persons.||The african guy who works at the reception is so rude and cold!|There is lack of staff!||However the other staff are quite nice.|||Their motto is ‘Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend’..|Totally fake!||Stop being so miser!|Invest in your management and staff.

It's was an absolute and great staying the staff was so nice and adorable the food was lovely and amazing our dinner our breakfast and lunch wow guys keep it up if anyone want an hotel nice cozy with lovely staff and good food the address is CASA FLORIDA HOTEL AND RESSORT

This was our 3rd time staying at Casa Florida. There's a reason we keep going back there. We look for well-priced accommodation that's clean and comfortable and Casa Florida delivers this. |We first stayed here in 2004 and 20 years later we've seen how it's been invested in and improved. There's a range of rooms, depending on number of guests and whether you want to self cater or not. We stayed in one of the new 3 bed apartments and it was perfect for us. Very handy to have our own washing machine too.|The site is clean and well kept with lovely gardens to walk in. Breakfast is good - fruit, yoghurt, cereal and freshly made omelettes and crepes to order. Can definitely recommend Happy Hour from 5.30-7.30pm every day! |All the staff are friendly and helpful. Our visit was made extra special by the attentiveness of wonderful manager Kantee, who makes sure all the guests requirements are met. She arranged a lovely private excursion for us. |Casa Florida is in an excellent location in Pereybere, 5 minutes from the beach, Winners supermarket (very good) and the bus stop. |There's always improvements which could be made - better lighting in the bedrooms, a full length mirror, a slightly better equipped kitchen eg. small plates, more utensils. We also preferred to eat out rather than in the hotel's restaurant, as the couple of evening meals we had there were just ok. |For us Casa Florida more than meets the criteria of a 2/3 * rating (depending on which booking site you visit) It's affordable, comfortable and friendly. That's why we plan to go back there next year!
