It was such a nice colonial house with vintage settings but remodeled facilities. Bed was very comfy and the beddings felt very high quality compared with other hostels I stayed. Spacious room with double curtains. The receptionists were super nice and attentive. On Tuesday evening I slept with minimal noise outside. On Wednesday evening the party started so there was some karaoke noise on Plaza Foch. I wasn't very bothered by it and ear plug came in handy and I slept with no problem.

Great looking rooms and more than friendly service at a affordable price. They go from contact a trusted taxi to very specific local recommendations. The hotel is a few steps from Plaza Foch, a great place to visit at night. Also nearby lots of restaurants, coffee and chocolate shops, pharmacies, barbers, etc. For the moment, no credit card are accepted, hopefully they can fix that soon.

We used this hotel for our study abroad and the staff was and is amazing. They are willing to answer any and all questions and helped us find stores we needed to go to when we needed extra supplies. The rooms are all nature themed and really well put together Everything is very clean and you can tell that they put a lot of love into the hotel The location is okay, a bit sketchy for travelers but that's going abroad. The walls are VERY thin, but not so much that normal talking volume is an issue, but enough that excited talking and outdoor noises are very apparent. All in all. Would stay here again

Homey and inviting. Great location to walk to many restaurants. Staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating....going beyond the call of duty to be helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable. Great breakfast every morning. Weekends can be a bit noisy from the local clubs...but that's why this is a "happening" neighborhood! Lots of good energy all around.

I'd selected this hotel based on location and reviews. It's very close to Foch Square (Gringo Town) which has many bars and restaurants along with great bus links into the Old Town and further North.|As a mature lady travelling alone it was important for me to be somewhere I felt comfortable walking around alone, especially in the evening when going out for dinner.|It's an easy walk to the handicraft market as well.||I used Uber and taxis booked via booking.com to to and thro to the airport but used the local buses to go into Old Town, admittedly getting off at the wrong stop beforehand as I couldn't see where we were. Top Tip is to count the amount of stops on the map so that you know to fight your way to the bus door in time to get off.||The lads who ran Casa Foch were lovely. They probably thought I was a bit batty but they looked after me really well, confirming the taxi drivers were bona fida, doing my laundry, pointing me in the right direction and storing my case for me as I packed a smaller bag to take with me to Galapagos and Mindo.||My room was a really good size, little bit damp / run down but reminded me of home!|Super en suite and a balcony area to sit out in.|Nice breakfast of fruit, scrambled eggs and toast. Brits & Irish - take your own tea bags!|The house itself has a locked front gate onto the street.||The only time I was a little uncomfortable was when I strayed onto a side road at night and a couple of chaps approached, presumably asking for money but nothing you wouldn't get in any city. I just crossed the road and carried on back towards the light.||In short, nothing was too much trouble for the managers and I recommend it to other travellers.

The staff are very welcoming and attentive, and the place is clean. Stylish, too. Agree on noise levels, but the neighbors (what sounded a karaoke place nearby) shut off their aggressively loud sound system at midnight (on a Monday night). The remaining street sounds can be mitigated rather well by use of a white noise app.

Our rooms were lovely and our hosts attentive. Breakfast was great, fruit, toast, eggs or yogurt and granola, all included. It is located in the 'New Town' area, a short taxi ride to Old Town, Teleferico (gondola ride up the mountain), or the Botanical Gardens. Our hosts were always willing to get us a reputable taxi driver. There are many good restaurants in the area. Plaza Foch is just a block away.
