As you enter, you’ll notice the tall ceilings and bright entrance—both are inviting and visually arresting. Inside you'll find couples and solo travelers in their late 30s and early 40s appreciating the personalized service and boutique amenities. The eight rooms differ from one another in decor and layout, but all offer a mix of period finishes and modern necessities. Casa Goliana

"How did it strike you on arrival? The beautiful building stands out for its intricate stucco details and bright reddish-pink hue. As you enter, you’ll notice the tall ceilings and bright entrance—both inviting and visually arresting. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Generally couples and solo travelers in their late 30s and early 40s. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The eight rooms differ in decoration and layout but all offer a kind of period luxury with modern touches. Detailed wallpaper and soft furnishings make it feel like a turn-of-the-20th-century bourgeoise house. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the soft, white linens are accented with soothing grays and beiges. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? The smart TVs in the room come with access to Netflix (and chill). Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. The bathrooms are large and elegant, with tile or wood floors and marble sinks. Some have large showers and others have claw-foot tubs. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the hotel. Room service: Worth it?There is no room service but breakfast is included. But you’re in the heart of La Roma, so please go out to eat. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Guests who need a good sweat have access to a fully-equipped gym near the hotel, but there’s an extra charge. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The beautiful rooms, tranquil patio, and Instagrammable floor tiles feel incredibly luxurious; think of this as your little vacation haven." - Susannah Rigg

After the Earthquake, Mexico City’s Boutique Hotels Trade Competition for Teamwork - AFAR

"A boutique hotel in Roma Norte whose owner joined the coalition to gain visibility and collective bargaining power with local tourism promoters; the property aligns with the group's focus on small-scale, design-forward accommodations that promote their neighborhoods and local merchants." - Brooke Porter Katz

Casa Goliana (Mexico City, Mexico) 10 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In a city as vast and overwhelming as Mexico City it’s no accident that the most enjoyable hotels are often the smallest. And while Casa Goliana has plenty else going for it as well, its most immediately apparent characteristic is its small size. Weighing in at just eight rooms, this 20th-century house in the hip and upscale Roma district blurs the line between boutique hotel and bed and breakfast — but by any name, it’s a charming, intimate, and extremely stylish stay." - Tablet Hotels
