So it is a hostel, but this is more than that. It has a big dining room and a big living room plus a roof top terrace, I was living there for couple of weeks. It was very pleasant. The owner of the Hostel are also nice people!

LOCATION The hostel boasts a superb location, just 15 seconds from the beach. You can conveniently access the hostel using a number code, making it easy to head out to the beach with just your towel. This prime location is one of the standout features of the hostel. CLEANLINESS While facilities that require daily cleaning are maintained, many areas of the hostel appear to have been neglected for a long time. For instance, the courtyard is covered in bird droppings, a space where many guests, often barefoot, hang their clothes to dry. The lack of a professional cleaning team is evident, as cleaning is not done thoroughly. SLEEP QUALITY The quality of the mattresses varies significantly. Some are in such poor condition that they are uncomfortable to sleep on. Although you can request a different bed without any issues, the problematic mattresses are simply passed on to the next guest, making new guests first nights potentially miserable. Additionally, the enforcement of quiet hours is lacking. The rooftop remains open without restrictions, and noise can easily be heard from the rooms, even as late as 2 a.m., making it difficult to sleep. SIZE AND ATMOSPHERE The hostel is smaller than expected, which limits the social opportunities, especially if you don’t speak Spanish. The limited influx of new travelers may also reduce the chance of meeting new people, a common reason many choose hostels. The small size and language barrier may hinder the social experience for some guests. AMENITIES The roof terrace is a pleasant spot to relax and read a book, offering a nice retreat within the hostel. However, the overall experience could be significantly improved with better management and more consistent enforcement of house rules. SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT I would personally prefer to pay an extra 5 euros for proper cleaning and for staff to enforce house rules more effectively, ensuring all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their stay.

Nice hostel, very close to the sea. They allow you to use surf boards, snorkels, masks etc free of charge which is nice and I made use of. They also offer surf lessons and yoga sessions in the morning for an additional price. The bathrooms could benefit from a bit of cleaning but otherwise no complaints

AMAZING hostel!! I loved it as soon as I arrived. I stayed for 3 days in total, and I will definitely be coming back. ||It is clean, spacious and fun and there are plenty of activities on offer. I made so many lovely friends too. I really cannot recommend this hostel enough if you enjoy co-living with people. Perfect for solo travellers

The best hostel on Tenerife and even in Spain, maybe in the World! From the very first second I feel welcomed and cared. Staff is very helpful and engaging. Every day there are some nice activities on the bar at the rooftop. You can take a board and a wetsuit from the hostel. Everything is nicely placed and well-thought - there is nothing missing in the hostel. If you travel solo - at this place you’ll never feel alone.

It's very affordable and good for solo travelers but i think the double room wasn't that good. It's old and very hot and located on the highest level, next to the bar (with a hallway inbetween). The terrace is shared with the rooftopterrace but with a few planks in between. No privacy and they're hosting quite some parties. One night it wasn't silent after 23u the other, when there was a live band they kept to the clock. I mean of course it's a hostel and I'm all in for a party but the location of it and the room being on the same floor is just not convenient. So bring earplugs for sure! The girls who checked us in are friendly, but the guy working there was not interested in us. You'd expect working in a hostel people say Hi the first time they see you and happily welcome you. The vibe of the hostel to me was so so, I've stayed in much cosier hostels. They do clean the bathroom everyday but they're old and full of chalk. I do like that you can lend stuff for free like a surfboard, snorkel gear and longboarding. They're close to lot's of nice restaurants and the small beach. There's free breakfast which is nice but after three days the toasted white bread and jam are really boring. Also mind that if you rent a car it can be a hassle to find a good parking spot in El Medano, it's very very busy but if you drive a bit further from the hostel along the coast or so, you can def. find something. Just mind that it can take some searching!

Nice vibes in this hostel, rooms and bathrooms were clean and it´s got a lot of free stuff to use if you want. Bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast is simple but all you need. My only complaint is that noise travels really easily throughout the building and you need to keep windows / doors open otherwise it´s too hot, so choice between noise or heat! But overall a good place to stay with fun people.
