This hotel is a quirky gem in the middle of Jimena. |Large clean rooms with nice decor and a roof top terrace with free tea and coffee and honour bar for drinks. |A real historic ‘Andalusian’ hotel |No onsite parking but parked safely on the street. |Will return.

Charming little" boutique Hotel". If you are looking for relaxing romantic place, you found it. Luxury is replaced by charm and purity. The village is very friendly with few good restaurants, great countryside and castle. Great escape.

Very spacious room and large bathroom. Enjoyed the beautiful views from room and also the roof top terrace. This hotel is located in the old part of Jimena de la Frontera, a charming town with narrow streets so best to arrive in the day light. Friendly service and suggestions for dinning and hiking.

Loved the quirkiness of this place. Moroccan style. Beautiful views from the back rooms and a lovely welcoming breeze. Just needs updating / refreshing but remember everyone has struggled over covid so give them time and use them. The village itself is just lovely ... a great chill out spot xx

Parking was a little difficult as the hotel has no parking facilities, (we knew this though so it was not an issue) but we found a free spot in the main road not too far away. The hotel looks nothing from the outside but it's like the Tardis, large and spacious when you enter. This in fact leads to a small problem, as the atrium is so tall there is a small problem with noise as every thing echo's', i.e. doors closing loudly and guests talking normally sounds loud. The staff were pleasant and diligent. The food in the restaurant was in my opinion very good, although served a little haphazardly. One starter came in the middle of our main course and I noticed on another table that they received both starters and main courses at the same time. Saying that the food was tasty and not expensive and the drinks were excellent value. We upgraded our room and had fantastic views over the rolling tree cover hills at the back of the hotel. Comfortable bed , and very clean rooms. Please note that that the lift does not work so not for the infirm. Over all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel, but please take some ear plugs.

Greeted by Melissa who was very helpful and friendly, we got a lovely room with a view of the valley and hills, lovely terrace with iron furniture WITH cushions 👍🏼. On street Parking was good, although driving around the Pueblo is not for the faint hearted😰😰. There was an Honesty bar, nice touch, we didn’t use it but fabulous view of the castle from the roof terrace . Overall for a Hostel great👍🏼.|The room needed some work, drawers sticking and one front fell off!! Door to room stuck half way ! Latches to window covers missing. The lift was not working and looked like it was out of order for some time as it had a covering on the doors on all floors . Only a problem if you mobility issues as stairs are steep. Recommendation made for a resturant (El Ventorrillero ) for breakfast which was a tourist rip-off in my view. Suggest they give more than one option, we discovered some good ones. Good value,Would use again.

This quirky and charming hotel was a brilliant find. Located in the middle of Jimena de la Frontera, it was an easy, if not steep, walk to all the local restaurants and attractions. It was thoughtfully decorated with interesting furnishings in the most beautiful, calming colors. Our bedrooms (5 & 6) were huge, with large tiled bathrooms, and set at the back of the hotel on the first floor with breathtaking views of the countryside and village rooftops. The cosy bar and restaurant are located on the lower level with a pretty terrace filled with wrought iron chairs and tables. There was even a piano in the salon. The restaurant is only open for dinner Fridays and Saturdays, so the receptionist kindly recommended two excellent places to eat when we asked for authentic local dishes. We highly recommend a walk around the sprawling castle and adjacent cemetery, as well as a visit to the Museo de la Memoria, located a few doors up from the hotel. Note: the elevator is not operational and I get the feeling that there are no|immediate plans to repair it any time soon.
