Our room was small, but cozy. Everything worked. Furniture unique and not corporate. Staff very nice and accommodating. Breakfast very good. The location is perfect as it is very close to many monuments such as the forum. Vatican is 4km away. I will come here again.

Hotel failed to honor my paid in full advance reservation, sent me off at night to look for another place. They claimed not to receive it. but Priceline still showed it as active and fully paid as I showed them. Don’t ever make the mistake of booking here.

This was great! Very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was so good, the room was always cleaned and cool. The location is amazing. They let us keep our luggage there and check in later, and their shuttle was very affordable from the airport. Would definitely recommend!

Room was completely different to as shown in photos. Our room was like a youth hostel, thus the price we paid way too high. Tiny shower-cabin, lousy showerspray, unfriendly host. Our room was located at the garden, where they served breakfast at 08:30 hr. So we woke up at 07:30 hr because of preparations and guests later on. Unpleasant bonus: we had to pay €5,- extra to leave our luggage longer on the last day of our trip.

We stayed 4 nights in Casa n Monti, and would definitely stay here again. This is not at luxury hotel, but a very good bed and breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. The B&B is situated in walking distance to all the “must see” places, with The Vatican and Trastevere as the longest distance with about 1 hour walking in “tourist speed”. Sitting under the orange tree eating breakfast was unforgettable. Would even strongly recommend dinner at the restaurant just across the street.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June. Very easy to find from the train station about a 20 minute walk and the restaurant over the way were able to help with check in. The guy who checked us in was very helpful with giving us tips about places to go and offered us 10% discount for the restaurant over the way (which is delicous, we went twice!). Room was quite small and dated, but catered for all our needs perfectly and they had air con which was needed! Breakfast served in the garden which was lovely and service was attentive. Only downside was the coffee served was instant and was hoping for proper espresso or cappuccino. Colleseum close by and other attractions about 20 mins, we used the escooters to get about for added fun!

We stayed for a weekend break at Casa In Monti and had a wonderful stay. The room was nice and clean and came with fresh towels, toiletries, hair dryer and tea/coffee. ||||The staff are lovely and welcoming and speak good English. We payed a little extra to have breakfast and it was such a good bargain. The breakfast is made up of sweet/savoury food and it was all very nice. the breakfast bar is suited on a roof top, was a bit cold to sit outside in the winter but I can imagine in the summer with all the flowers it be lovely. There is plenty of tables inside to use. ||||All the decor is suited to the city and is not modern in the slightest which gives it a very authentic Italian vibe. ||||There’s a tv in the room and TOP CRIME is the only English Channel if you’re like me and like to have some background noise. ||||The colosume is only a 15 minute walk away aswell as the Roman forum. The Vatican City is an hours walk away but there’s so many sights to see on the way that makes it worth it. The train station is only 15mins away. ||||Food is pretty expensive in rome which is why we loved the option of having breakfast at the hotel. But they are recovering from covid so we didn’t see much of an issue. ||||||We booked all our tours through Viator and they do blue light discount. ||||||Would highly recommend staying at casa in Monti.

We spent a long weekend here and apart from very good location and the fact the place was clean enough, there are no other positives. The room we stayed in was certainly nothing like the rooms we saw online when booking this place; bed was comfortable and the air con was ok, but apart from that, the room was quite dark, run down and just felt tired and in need of some TLC. The breakfast was served in the garden which was lovely enough, but do not be fooled by the photos, as it is certainly not a buffet. Coffee is basic and the first day we were given more food than the next day (bits of bread with either some salami/ham cheese/half a slice of a cherry tomato and bits of a sponge cake and a croissant). We asked for some help with a taxi booking to go to the airport (it is written on the notice on their wall they can help with that), but when we asked, the answer was this is not possible as 'it is a problem to get a taxi in Rome'. Just a heads up regarding this taxi business, make sure you have a solid booking in place for your transfer as our Uber cancelled at a last minute, which left us in huge trouble at 4am in the morning finding a taxi to get to the airport. Not worth the money, for sure, but the accommodation is Rome seems to be extortionate, so it is what it is, I suppose.
