Casa Isleña

Staying here for our time in Rincon! Beautiful hotel, absolutely beautiful. Rooms are very nice kept and cleaned everyday!! We had dinner here our first night and I had the best rainbow fish I have ever had in my life!! I always am thinking about it from now on! Breakfast was just okay, only thing about the food is that it takes forever!! Pool is super nice and warm, and the beach is just a few steps away with chairs as well! Too beautiful of a place, I love it!

Beautiful location, quiet setting, pool, pool bar , food was delicious. Service was friendly!! We showed up after the front office closed with absolutely no problems. Free upgraded room d/t vacancy. Rooms were clean and simple! Would love to return!

I recently stayed at Casa Isleña and had a mixed experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach that made our stay special. The food was exceptional, offering a delicious variety that we thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the customer service left much to be desired. They did not offer recommendations or display good hospitality, which put a damper on our stay. I will say the evening shift staff were a highlight of our stay. The girls were friendly and were a pleasure to speak with.

This is better than a 2-star hotel! I dinged service because the hotel staff is only available 8am-5pm. The king-bed room is upstairs facing the ocean and it's spectacular view. Big room, big bathroom very comfortable. Restaurant food served on the patio by the pool in front of the water was great. Run by a different vendor so you pay separately from the room (no "put it on my room bill"). What could be better? put a few paintings on the wall. Turn the lights in the pool on at night. There was live music advertised 6-nights a week but no live music for the two nights I was there. Last thing: The roads to this great hotel are... challenging! steep, barely bigger than single lanes. Pretty scary for a city boy

We are spending here only 3 nights and so far it has not been great. First night super loud live music and then more music after that. The restaurant which we are basically sleeping at suppose to be closed at 9:30 but they are playing music way past that. The reason I booked ocean view was to enjoy that, but ocean view here is basically a view of a pool and restaurant. You will be in the literally in right next to a pool that is surrounded by tables that is part of the restaurant. You will be woken up around 7 AM by staff of that restaurant and they are loud. Absolutely nothing relaxing here and we paid close to $300 per night. I wouldn’t spend more than $150 for this experience. The rooms are ok, clean, roomy, mattresses are soft. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, some things are broken but they say they are working on repairing them. The lady we spoke to was very nice but nothing has changed the next night. This is not a place if you want to relax!!! This is not a place if you have children as they will get no sleep. This is for people who want to party. We came here to relax and we are very disappointed and especially after paying $1000 for 3 nights!

I had an amazing week at Casa Islena with my two boys. Elva was very accommodating in helping us change to a room that worked better for us, and all the staff was welcoming and friendly. We met other great families there and the kids all played together. Great mix of family friendly and kid-friendly pool as well as adult enjoyment with the food and drink available at the bar and restaurant. Great view of surf beach from the bar/pool terrace. I definitely recommend!

We loved our stay here. The room was simple and plain, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The storage was great, and towels were provided for both pool and bathroom use. Coffee and water provided in room was also good. The location was PHENOMENAL. The bar and restaurant were great, as well the service all around.

Stayed here in 2 ocean view/front rooms with our family - 8 and 16 y/olds. Location is unmatched. Rooms very comfortable. Food delicious and lots of great options. Nightly acoustic live music a great touch. All in all this place was fantastic.
