Casa Isolani Piazza Maggiore 1.0

A very nice place with warm colours. Recently renovated. Just at the corner of Piazza Maggiore. The place was very clean and tidy.

Great hotel, great location. Located at the very center of the city yet without any disturbing noise. room was spacious and had anything we needed. Having access to free coffee and tea was also great.

Ideally located in the center of Bologna which allowed easy access to the historic buildings & great restaurants. The hotel was nicely appointed & very comfortable. The staff were very friendly & helpful in giving us ideas for touring Bologna.

I booked this small hotel with some apprehension because it doesn't have a reception area or lobby (no on-site staff) and it's at the corner of the Piazza Maggiore, which I thought might be too noisy. However, this place is a gem! upon arriving at the airport, I called to let them know I was on the way and they met me with keys and help with my bags. From the street, the hotel is just a wooden door between two shops so you feel like someone who lives there. The rooms are on the second and third floors and are big enough and bright, with large windows. my room overlooked the Piazza which was pretty entertaining. The piazza is packed with people all day and into the night but as soon as you close the windows, the noise disappears. The room is quiet and peaceful. I loved staying here because the location is ideal to walk around the city center and unlike larger hotels, it was affordable. ||There's daily housekeeping, great wifi, and cold water in the mini fridge. ||As for not having any reception or lobby-- I discovered I needed to print something and with no business center on site, I sent a text and they printed the paper for me and delivered it to my room. They even arranged my car to the airport for me. Very attentive staff, even if they're not on site. ||There's no need for a car if you stay here-- dozens of restaurants and shops surround you. ||This place is terrific and I'll stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to the area. I chose it for its location and reasonable price and I was not disappointed. On arrival, we met Guilia on the street outside the apartment. She was very prompt in replying to my messages. The building is a private apartment building and is absolutely gorgeous, and an oasis of peace and tranquility. The rooms were a good size and were immaculately clean and tidy. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and had lovely french toiletries. The view out the window was spectacular! The only negative was that the air conditioning was not working and it took several messages back and forth and 24hrs to get it working. It's also worth noting that with the windows open it can be very noisy - the pedestrian street below (as can be expected from such a central location), and the music from the shops below (they close at 7.30pm so not too much of an issue). The free wifi was great as was the common area with a kettle (but no tap or water for refilling) and there was no milk for tea/coffee. These issues aside, it was wonderful stepping off the busy street into the quietness of this beautiful building - I felt like a local. Without a doubt, I would definitely stay here again. I can highly recommend Casa Isolani Piazza Maggiore 2.0 for its location and price.

Good location and great soundproofing to keep out street noise. Bath and beds were very good. My only reason to take away one star is that the wall plugs did not remain active when we left the room. I support the lights shutting down; but couldn't charge my tablet while we went to dinner.

Very clean and comfortable room in the city center of Bologna, just around the corner of Piazza Maggiore. Possibly the best location for a stay and I’ve never been to a place more clean than this room. Perfect. Lovely personnel welcomes you upon arrival, and with breakfast vouchers you can get a brioche, coffee and juice at a baker just a minute away (I do recommend the crème brioche, so good!). Minor quick-fix is the fact that the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working at the time of our stay. Would stay here anytime!

We were pleasantly surprised about the wonderful room. It was clean and big and very silent. It is located next to Piazzo Maggiore only steps away from everything. The breakfast was at a nearby cafe, very satisfying. We can recommend this place for a stay in Bologna!Great service with the keys!
