Amazing fine food store. Traditional and local.
Founded by local entrepreneur Januário Ferreira in June of 1926, just 3 years before the 1929 crash.
Despite the great timing and lack of capital, Januário reached a significant success, and when in 1965 one of his sons took charge, the store still had the same interiors.
They managed to stay in business during the supermarket boom of the 80s and 90s and the store is currently run by 3rd-generation family members.
