Lovely restaurant, we arrived for lunch with no reservation and the terrace was full so we sat at the bar for a drink while waiting and we were given a lovely tapa with our beer, they opened upstairs as a few more people arrived and everything was great, delicious food fast friendly service, well recommended, 5 stars.

First stop after the long winding drive up the mountain and wonderful attentive and friendly smiles greeted us. The food was excellent, Migas were a feast and the polenta was light and delicious with a huge helping of various jamon and sausage. We got a “small” salad to share and it was a mound of delicious fruit and vegetables that was more than enough for 3. The friendly gato seemed to follow us all over town and it hangs out on the veranda overlooking the front of the town and the passing mountain road below.

Everything was absolutely mouthwatering. We ordered 'choto al ajillo' and it has been one of the bests I've ever had. The 'croquetas de pollo y jamón' also delicious.

The best local meal I've had in Spain. Pampaneira dish is a little of everything, potatoes, eggs, blood sausage, jamon serrano and much more.

Simple fare up the mountains on a stretch of rainy days. I was just glad I had warm food. The plato típico -no doubt you’ve already surmised- is Migas Alpujarreñas. If you’ve been through Extremadura, then you’ll know what to expect. Gorgeous thick pig thighs hanging up high... Visited Oct, 2018 📌 Enclosed menu for your consideration

I ordered Patatas a lo Pobre, best I ever had. The terrace is cozy and has a nice view to the mountains. Place is clean and service is excellent.
