We loved our stay at Casa Lajaguas! A beautiful little space in lovely Pedasí. The best breakfast we had the whole trip, farm fresh eggs, gluten free bread available and fresh smoothies every morning. The rooms were cute and set up very nicely for sharing. There were many cozy places to relax outside the rooms. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. There are two kitties and three pups residing there who lended endless entertainment. We fell in love with their animals, their little sanctuary, and the town of Pedasí. There are fantastic restaurants within a two minute walk, The Black Pearl (the poke bowl was outstanding!) is just around the corner and the Cuban restaurant just up the street had killer shrimp tacos. There are several beaches near Pedasí and just a half an hour drive to Playa Venao, a lovely beach with surf-able waves, board rentals, horse rides, and tasty restaurants. I could have spent our entire two week trip staying at Casa Lajagua and exploring the area. If I ever return to Panama, that’s exactly what I will do.
