After checkout, we left our luggage in the hotel’s storage room, as instructed by the reception staff.
When we returned to collect our luggage, we discovered that items worth approximately 300–400€ (including perfume, Sephora cosmetics, and clothing) were missing from inside our bags.
We immediately reported the incident to the hotel management. We were informed that the security cameras had been checked but that nothing could be identified. No concrete explanation, solution, or compensation was offered.
We would like to note that the hotel’s location and our initial impressions of the property were satisfactory, and these were the main reasons we chose to stay there. Unfortunately, the way this incident was handled completely overshadowed those positive aspects.
This incident occurred while our luggage was under the hotel’s responsibility, which is deeply concerning for any traveler who trusts a hotel with their personal belongings.
We are extremely disappointed with how this situation was managed. The lack of accountability, support, and follow-up does not meet basic hospitality and security standards.
We are still expecting a professional response, a clear resolution, and appropriate compensation for the loss incurred.
