Beautiful and big space to stay & cowork. Close to the beach & especially to some of the more beautiful beaches in Puerto Escondido. 🇲🇽 It is a bit far from the lively areas though but you could easily take taxis/ colectivos into the busier areas of town. They have a nice terrace with an ocean view to do workouts in the morning with mats etc. Loved that! 🧘🏼‍♀️ The staff is super welcoming and kind. Especially Jésus was so kind and really helpful with all my questions!

I had a great experience in this hotel, it is well located, close to many places including Manzanillo beach. Service is good. Rooms were ok, big with AC but beds are super hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom is super small and no hair dryer. But they have a pool and roof top which at night is like a bar. Overall was a great experience, I would stay there again.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is great, close to two beaches and only 20 minutes by collectivo to La Punta. The pool is the social heart of the hostel and made it easy to meet people from all over the world. The staff were super helpful and created a really good, fun vibe. I originally planned a short stay but ended up extending twice because I loved it so much. The mix of ages was a big plus for me — as someone in my 30s I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Overall, this hostel has the perfect combination of great amenities, a friendly atmosphere, and the best people. Would definitely come back!❤️❤️

A great place to stay close to the best swimming beaches, airport, bus station, and the Rinconada (restaurants/cafes). The staff are super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool is a nice extra, and the attached cafe is a convenient place to grab a quick meal. They host daily activities (walks, beach volleyball, etc) and I took advantage of the rooftop yoga. Because of the central location, there is some ambient noise in the evening but nothing too loud or too late, and easily solved with a pair of earplugs. I particularly appreciated the location and being able to easily walk to everything. I would definitely stay again!

Very kind and helpful staff including volunteers! Rooms clean, cafe really good and discount given to guests. Good location close to beach and good restaurants. Fun atmosphere at the bar at night times. Best internet in town

If you don't stay at Losodeli when in Puerto Excondido, you may be making a great mistake! I just spent 3 weeks here (in both the shared and private rooms) and I couldn't have felt better anywhere else. Private rooms are spacious, with extremely comfy beds and a blasting A.C. for hot nights. The dorms are fresh and kept clean by the constant cleaning from the staff (thank you Angie and Jazmin!), as well as the shared restrooms and spaces. The pool area and garden are GORGEOUS and perfect for breakfast, and there's a cafe with delicious food and coffee with servers that are very accommodating with dietary restrictions (thank you Aldair and Dayana!). They have several activities at the hostel and outside for guests to enjoy and interact, especially the bar at night time which was brought to live by lovely Diana and Darney. Every staff member made me feel at home every single day and I miss all of them already! Big shoutout to Toti, Jeel, Adri, and Manu for making everyone's stay the best possible, and to Liz and all her family for creating such a wonderful destination. Love you all and see you soon!

Case Losodeli will always have my heart. This is the best co-live I’ve stayed in! From the staff (<3), to the environment, to the people who stay there. A month full of memories. The location is great; you are right in between the quiet neighborhoods (my favorite beach, Carrizalillo, is near here) and the busy Centro. Easy to get down to the other end of the beach with public transportation as well. Even staying there a month, I still didn’t have time to eat at all of the places I wanted to. It’s all so good! Especially with the Losodeli Cafe being right there and so so yummy. All in all, if you want a place to relax, meet friends, do activities together, and live in paradise, this is the place!!

This spot really is wonderful. Casa Losodeli thought of a lot of the pain points of other hostels and this place is not a party hostel. It has: a spacious social area, co-work space with A/C (AND private call cubbies), food on-site, private rooms, a kitchen (clean- people seem to be respectful), good WiFi, a pool, AC in rooms, and little shelves/ cubbies and sufficient outlets in the rooms, hammocks, and very friendly staff. Shout out to: Jesús, Miranda. Manuel. Adriama for making the stay so inviting and comfortable. It’s a very clean space and all the staff work hard to keep it tidy and beautiful. There are also great efforts to have social activities (karaoke, family dinner, game night, sunset walk at beach, etc) I can’t think of any downsides except maybe that the bathroom is cramped / small with two shower stalls which gets very steamy in the daytime due to the heat in Puerto! There is a rooftop which probably gets more use in the high season. Casa Losodeli is one of the more beautiful properties I’ve stayed at for this budget value.
