Casa Mariantonia Boutique hotel

Casa Mariantonia, Anacapri The hotel is centrally located with a beautiful view, a lovely pool in the courtyard, and a restaurant surrounded by lemon and cherry tomato gardens that give it a very special atmosphere. We stayed in a suite, and the view from it was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The suite was large, spacious, and had everything we needed, including a bathtub. We enjoyed every moment in this unique room with its huge terrace overlooking a stunning sunset. On our first night, there was no hot water. We were told it couldn’t be fixed that evening, but it was handled the next day. However, no compensation was offered — not even a drink or dinner at the restaurant, which other guests usually receive upon arrival. In other hotels where similar things happened, management always tried to make up for it, and that’s why I usually give five stars. This time, I’ll give four — as not being able to shower after a long day of travel was really unpleasant. That said, everything else was truly wonderful. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is charming, and breakfast is served à la carte rather than as a buffet, which gives a sense of luxury and exclusivity. We definitely recommend this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Stay!||Everything about our stay was perfect — the rooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the location couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and Roberto looked after us so well each morning — he really made our mornings special! The reception team were also fantastic, helping us find our way around and recommending some amazing places to eat. Overall, our stay was truly magical. We can’t wait to come back!

July 2025 stayed for 7 days then two days. Family owned for several generations….very kind and flexible…they stored my bags for several hours and let me check out a little later. Food here is top notch…restaurant for lunch and dinner is where the locals who live and work here go for charming ambience. Pool and views from second floor are vintage Italian. Air conditioner very good…often an issue here in Italy but not this hotel. Only suggestion is to consider assessing your own taxi from ferry to area near hotel as there appears to be a local “monopoly” and negotiations directly have resulted in more favorable rates. Otherwise..fully recommend.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely hotel in Anna Capri for 5 nights, Stayed in a newly remodeled luxury apartment owned by the Hotel (Rm, #206). We had great views of the Mediterranean on a large terrace, and the front door of the building was in the center of boutique shopping and restaurants, if so inclined. The restaurant in the hotel's lemon garden was a great outdoor dining experience Met the owner and family, along with many excellent staff members. A great option for people who prefer Anna Capri over the hustle and bustle of lower Capri

We stayed here based on reviews and decided to splurge because of it but were disappointed. We paid over $1000 USD a night for a suite. Upon checkin, we were put in an unattractive apartment building a block away from the actual hotel. The apartment itself was beautiful and had a great view, but had many maintenance issues where electricity kept going out (went out 4 times, some sort of breaker kept blowing), and the electronic shades broke multiple times. It was like someone's apartment, perhaps the owner, not part of the hotel. I did not want to stay in an airbnb, but that is what it was like. We did not feel we got the experience of the boutique hotel we paid for. The manager was nice and gave us a credit for dinner but that was really insufficient considering the disappointment and constant maintenance problems. They said there was nothing they could do because we had pre-paid. That was a weak reason. ||The breakfast was good and the restaurant there was very good. The first night we got there there was a wedding and they closed the pool & restaurant. They basically took over the whole hotel which I really didn't think was fair to other guests, plus of course the noise late into the night. I would stay somewhere else next time, especially bearing in mind the very high price. I'm sure there are better options.

We chose Casa Mariantonia for our wedding and it was hands down the best decision we made for our special day. This place is truly amazing - the historic charm and intimate atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. What really set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. From the initial planning stages through the day of our wedding, they were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for making our day special was evident in every interaction. The venue itself has such a unique character - you can feel the history and warmth that has been welcoming guests for over a century. The family-style hospitality that Casa Mariantonia is known for made our guests feel like they were part of something truly special. Our entire family stayed at the hotel and the rooms were fantastic - comfortable, charming, and perfectly maintained. And we absolutely have to mention La Zagara restaurant - the food was incredible! Honestly, some of the best dining we experienced on all of Capri. The combination of exceptional cuisine and the intimate setting made every meal memorable. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines historic charm, stunning ambiance, and a staff that will treat your celebration like it’s their own family event, Casa Mariantonia is absolutely the place. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Highly recommend for weddings and special events - they truly know how to make magical moments happen!

I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return! The staff and service are wonderful and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast is wonderful (order from a menu - not a buffet) and the restaurant is excellent too. What a special experience to eat under the lemon trees! I do note that the rooms are not large and the shower is somewhat small without a place to put your legs on to shave. I only point this out to be helpful - I would absolutely still return. Also, for people with mobility issues - this is a great property and location - no stairs if you're on the first floor (some to go to breakfast, I believe) and very near where taxis can pick you up and drop you off and near wonderful shops, restaurants and attractions. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!

Simply fantastic stay - will go again. Quality feeling - great location in anacapri where you also experience locals and just at the walkway with shops. Stayed in suite 205 - best terrasse with sea and pool views. Breakfast just yummy, with fresh orange juice. Very friendly staff, helped with a great tour on the water.
