Casa Mariantonia Boutique hotel

In my honest opinion this small boutique hotel in Anacapri is an extraordinary, fanastic place to stay. It checks all the boxes. It is very clean, modern, and visually beautiful. The staff is professional, friendly, and very accommodating. It just happens to exists in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Anacapri sits high above the main city of Capri. It is picturesque, more laid back than Capri town and has less hordes of day visitors. The upscale restaurant on the property is La Zagara, set in in a serene lemon grove. The food is exceptional, beautifully presented and worthy of the prices. The property is a family business; run by a daughter and two sons, they take pride in Casa Mariantonia, as they should, as it is well deserved. I highly recommend this piece in paradise.

This hotel is an absolute gem, nestled in a beautiful but serene part of Anacapri. The staff is exceptional, warm, inviting and welcoming. Our room was absolutely stunning and every part of our stay was pure magic. We will never forget his experience and cannot wait to return.

We have stayed at Casa Mariantonia as a family many times since 2012. It is lovely to see how the hotel has developed over this time. The owners Marcello and Pierre Paulo are incredibly welcoming and all the staff (particular thanks to those on reception and breakfast) create such a friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend staying in Anacapri, which is much more quiet and quaint than Capri. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and spacious. Incredibly comfortable beds, high quality linen and strong shower with lovely Otigia products. Charming but modern. The swimming pool is very quiet, set within established gardens. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of eggs, cereal, sweets (cake, pancakes, waffles etc), fruit, yoghurt and the like. It is served to the table rather than buffet style. Coffee was good with alternative milks available. We ate at La Zagara a few times - beautiful setting under the lemon trees. Food is expensive but tasty. Restaurant area has a cover in case of bad weather. The only very minor points were the WiFi - strong connection but continually have to sign in each time you move around the hotel, and that there are lots of mosquitos (but not the fault of the hotel). We love staying here - it is incredibly relaxing. We will definitely be back! Grazie mille!

This is a very special hotel. We stayed here a few years ago, visited when we were on a cruise in 2023, and again June 2024. It continues to be a favourite of ours. It feels like home when we are there. The customer service and friendliness of the staff are next level. The location is perfect- a nice stroll to Anacapri, with the bus and taxi station close to visit the Marina or Capri town. The staff literally take care of your every need during your stay. The breakfast is amazing. I love that they changed the location of breakfast based on customer feedback. We compared this breakfast to every other breakfast on the trip and it was superior (and so was the hotel). La Zagara continues to be a great restaurant. We had 7 ravioli caprese’s on our bill when we checked out (ha!). Amazing. Loved the pool as well. We stayed in a newly renovated room: junior suite room 202 which was perfect for the 3 of us. Specious with a separate bed for our 11 year old. We have been to Capri 5 times and since discovering this hotel, we will continue to go back. If you’re debating between hotels, trust me and just book this one!

We stayed at Casa Mariontonia mid October, it was fabulous! The room was beautiful and very large. Great bathroom, beautiful view of their citrus orchards, lovely fresh breakfast, and close to all of the action in AnaCapri as well as the bus stop to take you to Marina Grand or Capritown. Probably my favorite hotel of the seven I stayed at. Also incredible value. Most of my rooms were running 5 to $600, it was around 300. Great, great stay!

The reception lady is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is great but the services are not great. The stuff didn’t provide the croissant basket when I arrived but did provide to other tables. I’ve been waiting for the service and felt I was neglected. The pool is beautiful but swimming in October is a bit chilly. Hope I will return next time.

From the time we arrived until the time we left the service we received from the staff was excellent. The breakfast that they served was one of the best we had and the lemon trees were unique and beautiful in their restaurant. They went out of their way to assure that everything was to our satisfaction. They arranged for transfers to restaurants and ferry’s The property was exceptionally clean as well as the the pool. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect as it’s right behind the Main Street however quiet at night.

This is an exceptional hotel. The location, in the centre of Anacapri on a car free road is superb. The views across the lemon trees and up to the mountain are exceptional. Breakfast and dinner is relaxed and of the highest quality. The rooms are not huge but are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sadly a bit too chilly for the pool but looks lovely!
