Beautiful boutique hotel with gorgeous individual and well thought out styling, with unmatched service. Beds were comfortable with fluffy quilts. Bathrooms were large and well equipped with good pressure showers. Breakfast was delicious, a combination of cold meats, cake, bread, bacon and eggs. We ended up staying an extra night as we enjoyed it so much. Walking distance to 2 palaces and the town + train station.

The accommodations were excellent. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Our small balcony had a view that extended to the Atlantic Ocean! The gardens were beautiful. We had breakfast outside one sunny morning. Breakfast costs extra, but is a good choice, since other restaurants are at least a 15 minute walk away. Breakfast includes fresh squeezed orange juice, muesli, with extra seeds/nuts, dried fruit, yogurt, different breads, cheese, prosciutto, fresh fruit, and eggs and bacon cooked to order. It is a quiet place, with a large lobby that is broken up into three rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Our stay was easy and great. Location means renting a car or using Uber is helpful to town and back. I feel terribly that we forgot to leave a tip for Donna who does the breakfasts and keeps care of the hotel.

During the e-mails exchanged with Charlotte, I had a great service and attention. We could get the room we requested and also change the dates respecting the limit for it. However, when arrived at the B&B to sleep at 22:00hrs, we saw that it was placed in the double bed two duvets kids size. Imagine a couple sleeping in a queen/king size bed on Winter with little individual duvets?! We are not even tall (1.70m). Imagine tall people! On top of that, the cold water tap of the shower was faulty. We could either have a boiling water shower ou a cold one - because the cold water tap would only work with high pressure. I felt myself in a poor hostel - instead of a nice and well recommended B&B. I would never expected such service from a €90/ night room without parking or breakfast. In the morning, the receptionist did not do anything or tried to amend our complaints - just charged for everything we owned and said she would check the tap and pass along the complaints. I do not recommend this place. Find somewhere else more honest and professional.

We had a nice stay at Casda Miradouro. The house is beautiful, a little bit outside the city center of Sintra. Good for parking (available in front of the hotel when we were there in October, it requires some walk then to reach the city center, but nothing too bad. Our room on the last floor had an amazing view (3 of the Sintra Palaces visible!) and the host were very nice.

Beautiful and clean room. Spacious for 2. Lots of stairs though. Breakfast was small had eggs and bacon cooked which was nice. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Very cute and quaint place to stay just outside of centre. Only street parking if lucky.

Not up to the standard of charm the website conveyed. Staff was extremely friendly but owner did not seem to agree with our concerns and was very defensive when I alerted her to the issues. It has a wonderful location with stunning views, however much of the landscaping in the front was dead (appeared to be lack of water?) and overall the building seems to be suffering from deferred maintenance. It is tired and needs some TLC. Oddly, the building has a strange, offensive smell, which is worst downstairs where food the is served. On the plus side, the bathrooms were clean and the bed linens were clean and fresh.

Wow! What a place. A beautiful estate right outside the historic district of sintra with a homey feel and the sweetest staff. Our room was beautiful and clean as was our bathroom. The staff helped us book dinner reservations and Charlotte (the owner) helped us find a car!!! It felt like home! You can walk into town and take a bus to all the main spots and the view from the courtyard of casa miradouro is spectacular. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
The worst part of my trip to Sintra was having to leave this beautiful hotel. My wife and I came here for part of our honeymoon and it was a magical place to stay while we explored Sintra. Charlotte, who runs the hotel was outgoing, nice, informative, and a pleasure during our stay. Check-in was super easy and getting to the hotel was quick from Sintra Train Station. It was a short, perhaps 4 Euro ride. The hotel offers stunning views from many windows. Our room had a view of the Castle of the Moors, Pena Palace, and Quinta de Regaleira. I mean I was blown away. The rooms are gorgeous and we had the opportunity to stay in a large king bed bedroom that was spacious and super clean. The bed was super comfortable as was every other aspect of the hotel. There are other rooms to hang out in downstairs where we tried to catch a little bit of the World Cup. You can order drinks as well, but we just had a little introductory Port as we arrived. The breakfast is very tasty and well worth the cost. We found cheaper in town, but it was not nearly as good or filling. The fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful and the French press coffee was heaven. Wifi worked well all through our stay and the water was hot. The shower was strong and the bathroom was clean. The hotel didn't need AC as all you need to do is open the windows and the fresh mountain air comes in and cools you down. The windows and high ceilings in our room were one of my favorite aspects of the hotel. I felt like royalty during my stay. We checked out a little early our last day and the hotel staff kept our luggage for us while we did some last day exploring. The staff is super friendly and they take care to make you feel welcome. Sintra was one of the highlights of our honeymoon and Casa Miradouro played a huge part in it. We felt wonderful every time we came back from exploring and could enjoy our down time. When I come back to Sintra I am going to stay here again as you should when you first visit. This is not a place to stay, but THE place to stay. Thanks again, Charlotte.

Yelp
A nice B &B, a bit out of the way, but (depending on room, I suspect) a view up the mountain to the castles. Our room was big and bright and pretty and white. Only one floor up, and as with most B &B's, no elevator- you're hauling your luggage up on your own. Owner was quite nice. Downside: a bit of a walk (uphill) to get back to civilization and the bed was not great- like a couch bed mattress without the permanent wave of being tucked away most of the time. Shower was petite but good. Next door to an abandoned house that could be awesome. Limited parking.
