Huge beautiful rooms in a classic hotel. comfy beds, good hot water, bottled water available. Breakfast was good but the dinning room was very hot. They need better AC and or fans to move the air. some problems with having our laundry folded after being washed. nice swimming pool to cool down in.

What a cool hotel in a renovated colonial building! Spacious rooms, high ceilings, comfy bed, small kitchenette, living room, very fancy and comfortable!!|Water is provided in each room to refill your reusable water bottles.||The Continental breakfast was generous and good, staff was friendly. There’s a small museum nearby explaining the history of timber boom back in the day.|Close proximity to local shops and restaurants.

The rooms were sensational. The staff were helpful and spoke great English. It was nice to find a place in Peru with good water pressure and hot water. The only downside was the breakfast. We ate there once out of our four mornings spent at the hotel. A buffet would be much more appealing, similar to Hotel de Turistas. Where we ate breakfast there instead.

My friend and I stayed at Casa Morey for one night. We both wished we stayed here longer. What a gem! |Beautiful colonial building. Huge rooms with high ceilings. Clean, comfortable. Very nice and accommodating stuff. Building is located in close proximity to all the restaurants and shops. But it was very quiet in the hotel. Hot water in the shower; working well air-conditioning and we even had a little kitchen in our room. They served very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely, a place to stay in Iquitos!

I stayed at this hotel as part of being a volunteer for Earthwatch Amazon riverboat program. ||This is such a delightful, cute and charming hotel located strategically in the center of town within a short few minutes walk to restaurants and shops and the main square Plaza Armas de Iquitos. The room was grand and clean, very spacious with high ceiling and excellent layout. The huge bed and pillows were comfortable. I was also impressed with the massive bathroom. ||The staff was all very friendly. Michael was exceptionally helpful. Ask him for a tour of the cultural and historical museums. ||I would highly recommend staying here at Casa Morey for an authentic stay at a historical building at a very affordable price.

The reception staff was very helpful and kindly helped me make a few phone calls to organise our itinerary. The rooms are huge and the kitchenette is a welcome bonus. The swimming pool is clean and the breakfast is great. You do get options but it’s not a buffet. Which I think is much better. Even though it is very close to the waters edge you do not have view over the river. The building was once owned by one of the barons during the boom of the rubber industry. The facilities are not modern but the beds and bedding is super comfortable. Thank you for investing where it matters. Do look at upgrading your toilets though. The flimsy plastic seat does not match the standard of the hotel and consider adding some plants to the decor. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Gorgeous colonial style hotel. Huge, beautiful, airy rooms, comfy beds & super friendly staff. I loved my stay here & would definitely stay again. Breakfast is simple & there are lots of places to eat close by. The pool is small but a great relief from the heat. Great price. In comparison I stayed at the Hilton a few weeks later with rude staff, noisy & they tried to rip me off for “cleaning” when I spilt some water.

Experience history and a nice heritage kind of stay..its so luxurious, and I love the blue colour tiles. The rooms are huge with a high roof , and the maintenance of the place is at its best..the place overlooks the river and a couple of restaurants are next door. The square is a 10 minute walk ..the reception is fantastic and the staff is very warm and helpful..
