Casa Morey Hotel & Restaurant

I stayed here for one night, before my trip to the Amazon. The hotel is just by the river. Hotel is an old building, lovely interior. My room was very spacious with high ceilings. Breakfast was excellent, a great choice. Staff very helpful. I went for a short walk, but didn't feel too safe. Alot of police presence in the area.

Very majestic property , huge rooms , very well located lot of restaurants pubs and even casinos around , beautiful view feom room , lovely breakfast. Front gate is always locked , person is there at the lobby to open. Tea coffee maker in room . Ac was comfortable

Grand Palace like experience , never seen such a huge room in any hotel across the world i have travelled so far. At the centre of the city hub walking distance to all places. Lot of great pubs, restaurants and also casinos around. Breakfast was great , rooms very comfortable and host an excellent person

This was such a surprise! It's gorgeous, and very well priced! The rooms are very spacious, with super high ceilings and all this beautiful antique furniture. The hallways are also spacious, and decorated so nicely! And there is a pool! And hot water in the shower! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is great. Nice restaurants nearby, and a view to the beautiful river. Wow!

We loved it. Colonoal styke. Very clean. Breakfast included delicious. We'd love to go back to Iquitos and stay there again. Excellent experience. River view. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Great location.

We stayed for one night before heading off into the rainforest, and it was comfortable. I wish we'd taken a tuk tuk to a restaurant in the evening because i found the ten mins walk through the market a little scary (we came when there seemed to be very few tourists), and yet it really doesn't feel scary. There are police all over. The walk to the plaza is a block away, very easy, and daytime it is absolutely fine ... also the hotel is very colonial with high ceilings and old-style decor which i much prefer to the generic hotel you can find everywhere. However, the pillows are not comfortable and I woke up with neck ache. This is my only slight complaint. The hotel is lovely, the location great.

Lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and breakfast. Nice, quiet location. We stayed in the family room and loved the size and high ceilings.

Huge beautiful rooms in a classic hotel. comfy beds, good hot water, bottled water available. Breakfast was good but the dinning room was very hot. They need better AC and or fans to move the air. some problems with having our laundry folded after being washed. nice swimming pool to cool down in.
