I had a wonderful experience in this Casa-museo. It's one of Milano's hidden gems! Even though there were no other visitors while I was there, this museum offers an intimate and rich experience surrounding art. Every room tells a story, from the paintings to the artworks to the furniture, everything is unique and magnificent. The people who work there are very friendly and don't hesitate to give information about the house itself, enriching the visit. What impressed me the most was the green chandelier at the entrance. The nice lady explained to me that its green color is due to arsenic pigmentation! Which is still very dangerous! This place really allowed me to escape the noise and crowds of Milan!

Absolutely delighted by my experience at Casa Museo di Studio di Boschi Stefano! Such a hidden jewel in Milan. It feels like an intimate, art-rich, and immersive look into a world where design, history, and creative vision meet with elegance. I love how the Art Deco pieces were striking yet serene, with a palette of earthy woods and soft textures that invite you to slow down and feel. The walls are a blend of playful and abstract works, thoughtfully arranged to inspire reflection. For me, the chandeliers were the star of the show! The chandeliers shift from space to space, some delicate and dreamlike, others bold and sculptural, adding a rhythmic, almost meditative quality to the experience. The overall ambiance is hushed, sensual, and refined. Every detail speaks of taste, restraint, and depth. It’s a place that lingers with you, long after you’ve stepped back into the bustle of the city.

A hidden gem in Milan. This “home museum” is stuffed with modern Italian art and art-deco furniture and lamps, all carefully arranged in balanced themes. Free entry an absolute must-see.

Really impressive collection. The small house is filled to the brim with artwork, and it allows you to really get up close to the pieces and admire them. The staff is friendly and eager to help, too. It’s a cool little experience not to miss if you’re in Milan.

The exhibition at the home of a couple is a delightful experience. The house is easily accessible by public transport and is not far from the center. Each room is filled with artwork they’ve collected over the years, showcasing different eras and timelines of their collection. It’s fascinating to see how their preference for artworks has evolved over time, something you don’t often get to witness in many collectors’ museums. Additionally, they’ve retained the original furniture, adding to the charm of the place. I also noticed that all the lighting fixtures appear to be from Murano Island, adding a touch of elegance.

If you like to get up close with the art you're viewing without having to elbow throngs of people, this is a place to strongly consider. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. You can take your time, soak it in and really observe every stroke. What's more, this is the couple's actual house. It's free, and it's already quite a collection from the couple's over 2000 pieces. There is an online audio tour that's quite handy. Great way to spend an hour if you're nearby or hate crowds.

Yelp
Its bit hidden in the Via Jan 15 near Piazza Lima because it remained within the 1930s apartment of its former owners, Antonio Boschi and Marieda Di Stefano. The museum Boschi-Di Stefano has an outstanding collection of 20th-century Italian art, including paintings by Futurists such as Boccioni, Carrà and Severini. The idea of presenting the 2000-piece collection in the original flat is quite remarkable. Sitting on the sofas is allowed!
