An atheist, Guayasamìn, has a large collection of religious art created by indigenous people in the Quito school. These are displayed the way the artist wanted them to be seen. Look for lots of angles and saints with their eyes 👀 cast towards the sky.
The house is beautiful and the studio is stunning. You can see his workspace, tools, and paints, along with his work.
The house tour was excellent, but I wanted more time to.soend with the many pieces on display. It is packed with beautiful and intriguing art, and I found myself wanting more time to view pieces up close.
The collection on the ground floor is breathtaking. You.see from his earliest works, Guayasamìn is a gifted and visionary artist.
