If you are looking for a truly authentic Spanish tapas, this is the place to go. I have been coming here for a few years now and it is still my favourite restaurant in the area. Always welcomed with a smile, the food is fresh and varied with changing specials. The seafood paella is also very tasty!

Wow, we’ve been looking for authentic tapas for some time. This is the place. The flavours and presentation of food wonderful. We had 5 courses, the photo is of the octopus and white bait Highly recommend.

Great little eatery, friendly helpful staff, good size portions and great atmosphere. Felt like we were back in España for an hour or so. I recommend the Gambas Pil-Pil Prawns) and Albóndigas (Meatballs) We arrived about 6pm so got a table but I imagine you would need to book for later evening times.

Great vibe. Spanish music. Authentic food. Generous portions for tapas. Photos attached. Bill for 2 with drinks and dessert was about 60. Churros and pig cheek are a must try!

Been this evening for the first time! Absolutely blown away by the food and service! Portions were more than ample and quality of food and flavours were beautiful. Highly recommend, will be returning soon!

Hands down some of the best tapas I've eaten in my life, and the portions are generous! The restaurant is upstairs with a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic. Will definitely be going back!

Had an amazing lunch at Casa Naranjo. The food was fantastic, highly recommend the anchovies and the sangria. The service was also excellent. We managed to get a walk in table at about half 12 on a Sunday lunchtime no problem.

Went for a Saturday lunch whilst shopping.lovely food and service was great. Didn't like the aubergine as it tasted like a donut batter but that's our personal choice.everything else was fantastic.loved the lamb chops special and croquetas were better than we had in Barcelona.

Shrewsbury has some fascinating architecture with streets that have an almost medieval feel. So with the great reviews and the atmospherics we were already in a good mood when we went into the restaurant for the first time. We were not disappointed - eating in Spain regularly we have become wary of so called Tapas UK style which never fails to fail but Casa Naranjo is the real deal. We have eaten here three times now and it has been good every time, our go to restaurant when in Shrewsbury now. Having now had everything on the perfectly sized menu it is hard to pick out favourites but the boquerones, croquetas and ox cheeks are my top three. Food is definitely fresh with real flavours that only come from careful preparation and cooking with the right ingredients. Very much the feel of a genuine Spanish restaurant to back up the genuine food with friendly professional staff and perfectly paced service. The menu has something for everyone - it is online and worth having a look. Portions are generous but not overwhelming and the freshness of everything throughout the meal is a testament to their commitment to really delicious and tasty food. Most of the customers look like regulars we were made to feel as if we were too- but not in an artificial way. Everyone who was here looked like they really wanted to be here, customers and staff - brisk, knowledgeable, attentive, cheerful and pleasantly efficient. Spotlessly clean throughout. Prices are exactly right for what you are getting - again they are on the website, neither cheap nor expensive. But very good value. On the admin side - easy to get to but if you are not familiar with Shrewsbury use a map! Parking is easy - don't try the street [like us first time] 2 carparks nearby.
