We spent 2 nights at Casa Nenita in Vinales. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Breakfast was veggies, eggs, pancakes, bread, juice & coffee. They even served us cake at breakfast on one of the days. We had dinner at their in-house restaurant on the night we checked in & the food was good. Josh & the elderly lady were very sweet & helpful. There was lot of open space for us to relax. Loved the views from the terrace. Beautiful & well maintained casa.

Casa Nenita was an oasis in Vinales for two nights with our #DelCaiman tour for the New Year. Nenita is a very hospitable and gracious host. She and her family made us feel like family before we left. There was a group of 10 and we were welcomed with fresh mango juice. They had a full restaurant with a bar and snacks. The rooms were very clean and had a great Roman-style shower with HOT water and pressure. The beds were cozy (for Cuba) and pillows with blankets for the cooler evenings that we were not expecting. The BnB had a pool, fitness equipment, clean facilities, a rooftop area to catch that sunrise or sets, and a great location that was walkable to town. The local farm down the street hosted our NYE pig to roast in the outdoor oven at Nenita's. They presented an incredible spread along with our hand-selected pork for the evening with great live entertainment.

Casa Nenita is in a quiet location off the Main Street but only three minutes walk into town. There is a good restaurant on site, open from early to late. They have a pool. If it‘s not open ask for it. They will (hopefully 😉) open it for you. The courtyard has ample of shade for those hot afternoons. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Marisbel (?), Dani and Joel and, of course, Nenita herself. We had two loads of washing that they took care of straight away at a small fee. Joel helped us transport our luggage back to the bus station on his scooter which was greatly appreciated. It helps to speak a bit of Spanish, though. Please note, there is the original building and a new building across the street. If you prefer a more modern design, ask for a room in the new building. They will be happy to accomodate you if they can. All in all a good choice.

We (a group of six) stayed here as part of our tour organised by Wijin Cuba. This is a comfortable small hotel, with a pool, rooftop terrace, and easy access to the town. Breakfasts were very good, and we ate very well on arrival – we all chose lobster, and tucked in heartily despite the fact that we had been travelling all day and it was past midnight back in the UK.||Easy access into town and further afield if you're pony trekking or visiting the mogotes. There's a range good restaurants in Vinales, and a cultural centre with salsa a-plenty.

We stayed at Casa Nenita for 3 nights during our time in Cuba. Our stay was without a doubt a highlight of the trip. Nenita was extremely hospitable, she offered us a larger room at no extra charge. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, a great breakfast is available for a small charge as well as a wide variety of food and cocktails throughout the day. Viñales is a must visit in Cuba with plenty to do such as visiting the tobacco plantations on horse back, hikes in the mountains and experiencing the vibrant night life. El Olivio is also a must visit for delicious Italian food.

Lovely Nenitas! Rooms are cleanish, air con works. There are towels, a wonderful pool, good restaurant (try the bean soup - it is divine!) They speak some english - good for non-spanish speaking tourists. Breakfast is ample and good. Employees are friendly. The only drawback is when it is time for us to move on. Joel books us a taxi, and proceeds to con us out of 50 CUC. Thinking this was an honest mistake, we send word to explain that there had been a misunderstanding, and that the 50 CUC deposit somehow had gone astray. No reply, wich leads us to believe this is a common way of eraning a bit extra here. If he had simply said that he charged for the arrangement this would be ok, but when we are told that it is a deposit, and that we have paid half the charge it is not. Sadly this leaves us with a not good feeling for a place that was otherwise very good.

If visiting Vinales - you should stay here! We booked after doing a lot of research in the area before travelling and are sooo glad we did our homework! On arrival we were greeted by the family and Nenita herself. Casa Nenita has a restaurant/bar area with the best food we ate in the whole of Cuba - portions were generous and food was of a very high quality after travelling more than 24 hours the big bowl of spaghetti and pizzas were most welcome. Breakfast although not included in the price of the room is only around £4 and includes fresh fruit and fruit juice, bread and jam, eggs (cooked to order) and a little sandwich toastie and coffee - so very good value. Fresh mango juice is amazing! It has a roof terrace with some good views, a pool which is very welcome after the heat of the day and the rooms - although fairly basic have everything you need. They have rooms in the main complex and a building over the road which we were in that has further rooms and its own private little terrace with a table and chairs out the back. All the rooms are ensuite. Everything they have is immaculately clean. The food and drink is a good price too. Joel is always keen to help organise a trip out to local areas and can get you whatever mode of transport you need - horse/horse and cart/classic car/taxi/walking tour or collectivo etc. There is also areas to play pool, sofas out of the sun and an area to play chess/cards. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. If I had any negative at all it would only be that the pillows are not great, filled with little square foam lumps. Walking distance to town centre is 5 minutes. We stayed here for 4 days and booked independantly with no problems. Wi fi is available if you buy the government cards cost about £1 per hour but if there is a powercut (due to immense thunderstorm) you may lose reception. Rooms also have a fridge and efficient air conditioning. Although the price is marked as budget - accommodation with similar facilities/cleanliness and level of service would be £hundreds more in many other countries - fantastic value for money. Stay here - you won't regret it!! Thank you to all at Casa Nenita.

Nenita and her daughter were absolutely lovely. For me, the best Casa in Cuba. The restaurant is also fantastic, with it's out of centre location allowing you to dodge the Vinales main road that is burgeoning with tourists.
