Casa Nicolasa

We loved our stay. The hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the whole of the town. It was peaceful and relaxing after a busy day sight seeing and the recepttion team are very friendly and helpful. We booked the deluxe room with balcony. The balcony is small but you get a view of the sea at the end of the street. Despite being on a street, when the windows are shut there is very little noise and we slept well. The shower is walk in and the housekeeping is excellent. There was plenty of storage and the toiletries are good quality and generous. The mini bar free water was really appreciated. There is a Lidl across the road for anything else. Thank you for making our holiday so perfect. We got a good deal with Hotels.com.

We had a small west-facing room. It was fine. Windows provided good sound-proofing from the noisy street at night, but at the sacrifice of air quality. The room was warm and stuffy by the morning, with an obvious lack of fresh air ( - the air-conditioning worked fine, but it's hard to sleep with it on). Shower was quite good. Bed was comfortable. Service was minimal yet sufficient and pleasant. Location on the edge of the old town was good.

The location is great. Welcome was great. The room was VERY, VERY poor! Over priced, box room which was so small we could only open our cases on the bed!! Definitely over-rated with much better out there.

Small but very nice. Loved the balcony, the room, and the staff. Super helpful considering our luggage was delayed 3 days.

This was our first stay in San Sebastian so finding somewhere to stay was a bit of a lottery which was based on reading reviews and hoping.|Well we struck very lucky in choosing Casa Nicolasa.|It is located in the old town and very convenient for bars, restaurants and sightseeing without the need for transport, i.e. everything is within comfortable walking distance.|Our room while not being huge, was a perfectly good size with a good size bathroom and shower.|The bed was also a good size and extremely comfortable with 2 pillows each.|There is a small complementary mini bar in the room housing water and soft drinks.|Check-in was excellent and we were given a choice of 2 rooms one of which was facing the street which we took. There was a small balcony with this room which was good. The windows were really well sound proofed and any noise from the street was barely audible at all.|All-in-all a great find and when we return to San Sebastian, as we surely will, we will certainly hope to be able to stay here again.

Great hotel in the old town of San Sebastián and a short walk from the main attractions, bars and restaurants. The hotel is around a 10min walk from the main bus station. The room was modern and well equipped with air conditioning, fridge, comfortable bed and a power shower. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful in explaining local attractions, places to eat and drink etc. we would highly recommend staying in this hotel.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel! We were in San Sebastian for 48 hours and it was in the perfect location to access all the pinxtos bars and get a real taste of the city. About a 10 min walk to the beach. The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful giving us recommendations. The room was clean and tidy and exactly what we needed! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who was planning to explore San Sebsatian.
