Casa Nithra

This is a lovely, cozy hotel. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed for three nights. We had delicious breakfasts at the restaurant on the first floor. There's a pool on the top floor, and we jumped in!|One thing to note is that the main entrance is a one-way street, so you'll need to be aware of this if you want to go in the opposite direction, such as to the airport. There are plenty of shops nearby, and you can walk to Khao San Road and the post office. There's also a hop-on hop-off cruise bording point close by.

Casa Nithra was a great place to be-- very close to Khao San Rd but not right in the middle of the chaos. We were a 10-15-minute walk away. Good restaurants, etc. were just 5 minutes away. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The pool was a nice place to hang out after being out on the streets. It is smallish and saltwater, but clean and pleasant with a bar. It is true there is currently construction on the street outside but we did not find that to be a problem-- you just have to walk through the construction walkway for a block or so. Taxis are able to come to the hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. This is a great option if you want more comfort and to be on the outskirts of the tourist area.

I had a great experience here. The buffet breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety every morning. The room was spacious, with a big, comfortable bed, and it was impeccably cleaned every day. The rooftop pool was a highlight — a perfect place to unwind with a drink from the bar, and the views were a nice bonus! A special shout-out to the amazing staff — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you for your warming smiles and genuine hospitality — it really made the stay feel special. The only small downside was the roadworks outside, but once inside, everything was calm, clean, and relaxing.

After a 24 hour journey from Europe to Bangkok, the staff was very kind, welcoming and polite. They took our bags and walked us to the room. The rooms are very specious and clean. Shower and bathroom are wide. There is a minibar, tv and a fridge. Hotel is about 40 mins walking from hysterical buildings and has a rooftop swimming pool.

This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay in Bangkok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice enough. Had a lovely pool on rooftop. Only a few of us there and comfortable sun loungers. Lovely rooms. Everything perfect for us

I'm here to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. There is actually a metro station construction 🚧, so in the near future, it will be very convenient to arrive at the hotel. It is not far from Khaosan road, beautiful temples, taxi-boat pier, etc. I found that the staff at the reception provides a very good hospitality with a beautiful smile. She can recognize the guests and facilitate to connect with me as a tourguide without even asking for help. This is really a 5-star service minded. 👍⭐🎖️Restaurants just in front of the hotel to enjoy the view on the road, a ginger cat receiving guest at the entrance.

I've stayed here twice this month at the start and end of a Thailand holiday, and this was my fifth time overall at Casa Nithra. It's been over 10 years since my first visit and the place hasn't really changed which goes to show how well looked after the hotel is. ||Location is perfect (there are currently roadworks outside but they're not bothersome so don't be put off on your first impression). It's a 10-15 minute walk down to Khao San and Rambuttri and there are some nice food & drink places even closer (Murmur was lovely and did great cocktails).||The rooms are comfortable, some are a little cosy but fine for a city break base. ||Staff are really friendly and happy to help with any recommendations etc.||My only criticism currently is the pool area - they've stopped serving snacks up there which is a bit of a shame and also the loungers are in desperate need of replacement. They're really uncomfortable and showing their age now, whereas the rest of the hotel is maintained really well, they are beyond repair at this stage. The chlorine used at the pool also dyed my white shorts yellow which isn't a great look.

This was a great hotel. It’s far enough out that you don’t get caught up in all the chaos and noise but it’s also close enough to walk to most things within 10/15 mins. There are road works outside but that didn’t effect us one bit. ||The hotel was modern and clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a great addition and there was loads of choice for breakfast. The dining room is small but people seem to leave pretty quickly so we didn’t experience any queues. ||All the staff were so friendly, making sure to say hello and goodbye every time they seen us. ||My only bad point was that we were on the top floor and around 6am every morning we could hear the cleaners maybe? dragging the sunbeds on the rooftop across the floor. It didn’t last long but it woke us up every morning. ||Overall, if I was to visit again, I’d stay here for sure.
