The staff was great. Location very good - except that it’s above a bar that keeps going till 2 am on the weekend. Otherwise pretty well situated in Condesa. Noise doesn’t usually bother me but this time it really did. There’s a white noise fan in the room - didn’t touch the street/bar noise. And the staff offered me ear plugs but who wants to wear those all night? I was on the 3rd floor (4th if you count the ground floor). Windows don’t open which is ok but no ventilation. Lots and lots of positives. But I couldn’t stay here again due to the bar. It’s loud and there is a bouncer dressed for a SWAT event. The bar has access to the hotel stairwell. Traveling alone so that also bothered me.

⚠️ Warning: Organized Scam Alert The PRICE listed online is NOT the real price!!! When you get to the hotel, they only give you access to the room if you pay an extra $80 USD deposit for damages but they never refund it after you leave, even if you follow up multiple times. My bank confirmed that the hotel didn’t do a chargeback (refund), but instead made direct charges on my card. I asked for the contact info of the manager or financial administrator, but they refused to give it to me. This gives a really bad impression of the local culture and the country, which is a shame.

They were able to get us in last minute for a very early check in. The rooms are nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable. They provide a big jug of filtered water, which was very needed after our flight to CDMX. The room had fresh coffee beans, a bean grinder and a French press…again another really nice touch. Proximity to the delish restaurant on the corner= big plus. I could keep going on about this place. Basically exceeds expectations on all fronts.

REALLY good location and the breakfast place below is delicious. The service was exceptional. Yes as the other reviews mention the noise but that’s what you get when you have a really good location in La condensa :)

This place is in a great location. But it is impossibly noisy. I mean potentially the noisiest hotel i have ever stayed in my life. Mind you even on sunday where everything around was closed the bar downstairs was playing loud noise. The staff was friendly but the noise is unacceptable. I came to be on vacation instead i found myself unable to sleep multiple nights and this is with earplugs and headphone! It ruined my vacation i was tired in the day and had to sleep in to make up the loss of sleep at night.

This is a great hotel in Condesa. My wife and I were exploring new neighborhoods in Mexico City, so we chose this one for our exploration of Condesa. A good choice all in all, great water pressure, good staff service and an excellent location (one of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City is just down the street). The bed was very comfy too. My only complaint is around street noise, we were on the first floor and while the streets aren't too bad at night, in the morning they can be quite noisy. Perhaps the higher floors are better?

This new hotel in the Condesa neighborhood has a great staff and perfect location for exploring the city. The lobby cafe serves a tasty breakfast (not included in cost) and there is a rooftop to relax and enjoy. As others have noted, the rooms themselves are pretty minimal. I stayed in a double room on the first floor, the bed was super comfortable but we had to request things like body wash and trash bags. There was a basic floor fan which helped but the room did get pretty stuffy. I think they might need to add window units to make the rooms more comfortable in the summer. In terms of noise, our room didn’t get blasted by it but I could see how others might. I would recommend packing slippers and noise cancelling ear buds. Great value for the neighborhood!

On the day we arrived, a truck was pumping raw sewage right out of the big opening near the front counter creating strong stench and huge noise. We could see the raw sewage being pumped out when we passed the front counter. I nearly vomited and felt like getting sick. As it turns out, we both got diarrhea the next day, and on the third day we had to stay in bed all day with severe diarrhea and abdominal pain. Then the next day we decided to leave early although we had no flight reservations. While we can’t prove our illness was caused by the exposure to raw sewage, it certainly was most distressing experience, and potential for bacterial infection. The stench lingered throughout our entire stay, especially bad in the elevator when elevator started working. When we first arrived, the elevator was not working. There was no help available, so we had to haul our luggage up three flights of stairs to our third-floor room. We got the room a King-size bed with no windows, no air-conditioning. The night was hot and humid, and there was no way to get some air. The next day we talked to the front desk clerk and the only available room with window was much smaller room with double bed. Because we were so desperate to get some air, we switched to the much smaller room that has busy street noise. We asked for price adjustment for the difference in price, but the clerk informed us that Diana, the manager, declined the request and instead offered complimentary breakfast. We left after 4 nights, on a stand-by flight feeling very sick and disappointed, even though we had to pay the entire 7 nights up front. We asked for a refund but received no response. We were so excited for our trip, but our trip was completely ruined.
