They were able to get us in last minute for a very early check in. The rooms are nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable. They provide a big jug of filtered water, which was very needed after our flight to CDMX. The room had fresh coffee beans, a bean grinder and a French press…again another really nice touch. Proximity to the delish restaurant on the corner= big plus. I could keep going on about this place. Basically exceeds expectations on all fronts.

This place is in a great location. But it is impossibly noisy. I mean potentially the noisiest hotel i have ever stayed in my life. Mind you even on sunday where everything around was closed the bar downstairs was playing loud noise. The staff was friendly but the noise is unacceptable. I came to be on vacation instead i found myself unable to sleep multiple nights and this is with earplugs and headphone! It ruined my vacation i was tired in the day and had to sleep in to make up the loss of sleep at night.

Nice location but not worth 280 USD a night. Needs remodel. Smells of humidity.

Excellent budget friendly hotel in La Condesa. Andrés, the night clerk is an awesome person!

On the day we arrived, a truck was pumping raw sewage right out of the big opening near the front counter creating strong stench and huge noise. We could see the raw sewage being pumped out when we passed the front counter. I nearly vomited and felt like getting sick. As it turns out, we both got diarrhea the next day, and on the third day we had to stay in bed all day with severe diarrhea and abdominal pain. Then the next day we decided to leave early although we had no flight reservations. While we can’t prove our illness was caused by the exposure to raw sewage, it certainly was most distressing experience, and potential for bacterial infection. The stench lingered throughout our entire stay, especially bad in the elevator when elevator started working. When we first arrived, the elevator was not working. There was no help available, so we had to haul our luggage up three flights of stairs to our third-floor room. We got the room a King-size bed with no windows, no air-conditioning. The night was hot and humid, and there was no way to get some air. The next day we talked to the front desk clerk and the only available room with window was much smaller room with double bed. Because we were so desperate to get some air, we switched to the much smaller room that has busy street noise. We asked for price adjustment for the difference in price, but the clerk informed us that Diana, the manager, declined the request and instead offered complimentary breakfast. We left after 4 nights, on a stand-by flight feeling very sick and disappointed, even though we had to pay the entire 7 nights up front. We asked for a refund but received no response. We were so excited for our trip, but our trip was completely ruined.

Beautiful small hotel in a lovely area. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Although we booked four months in advance they gave us a room just above the bar. The room was literally vibrating till 2am. We asked for another room but it was still very noisy from the bar at nights and the cafe in the mornings. The hotel would benefit from a lounge area. Apart from that, the people were lovely!

The hotel seems to be making some really great upgrades. Furniture in all the rooms was really nice, the bedding was nice and plush, the showers/water, electrical, internet, all good. Many TVs are new and have good Sky reception. The soaps in the room smell nice, their coffee bar thing was nicer than any hotel I’ve stayed in bc they had a cute pour over setup.||Despite all that there was some room for improvement:|- They don’t seem to put a top sheet on the beds unless you ask.|- The safety boxes are large and can fit a laptop, but they aren’t bolted down…… whats the point?|- Our room had a visible gap in the ceiling at the crawl space. We could see fiberglass insulation in that space sitting above our bed. This was really not good.||Couple other notes that travelers may want to know but aren’t really the hotels deal.|- You don’t need HVAC in Mexico City, but the rooms don’t have it; for really sensitive people. There is a nice, stylish fan in the room.|- Parking in the neighborhood is tight. If you bring a car you likely need to plan ahead somehow.||Id suggest the hotel restaurant consider adding some sort of appetizers to the menu or maybe one largish appetizer plate with some variety. We wanted to get little nibbled to eat worth a beer between getting our group together or like a one hour down time, but didnt because we had to choose between just a beer and a full meal.

UPDATE: FRAUD ALERT!! The hotel has now charged me an unauthorized amount on my card. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC INFO!! This place is NOT AS ADVERTISED and if you cancel reservation for any reason after leaving CC info, they WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD NO MATTER WHAT!! I do not leave bad reviews often or like to complain, but this was a TERRIBLE experience. We had an issue sleeping in our room with very loud noises right outside our window starting at 5am, asked if we can switch to a quitter room and were not given a better option so we politely asked to cancel the rest of our stay so we can book somewhere else but the management refused to refund the rest of our nights. I quickly booked a nearby Airbnb, and after telling them we were cancelling our credit cards so they would not receive any money from us since they refused to refund us they suddenly offered a better room. All this not to mention the entire hotel smells of a terrible fragrance and the elevator seems to be broken for a very long time. It appears they stopped taking care of this place and desperate for money hence no refund. I would definitely not recommend supporting this establishment.
