Casa Olivea (Ensenada, Baja California) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"When exploring Baja California’s Ruta del Vino, it’s essential to have a place to escape the sun and hydrate after wine tastings. The oasis-like Casa Olivea, located right on the historic route that leads through the wine-growing region, is just the ticket. Cool, quiet, and environmentally friendly, its rooms are set amid fragrant gardens with olive trees. Each is named after a plant or flower, and all are stylish and minimalist with poured concrete floors, king-sized beds, and blackout curtains. The stone-lined pool, beautifully illuminated as the sun goes down, is perfect for a refreshing post-siesta dip, and with a farm-to-table restaurant and coffee shop on site, it’s easy to stay put until it’s time to hit the road again." - Tablet Hotels

I am so happy that I stumbled across this gorgeous hotel in Valle de Guadalupe. Everything by far exceeded our expectations. I traveled with a group of friends to celebrate my 40th birthday, we reserved most rooms at the hotel and couldn’t have been happier. The grounds are beyond stunning (even better than the pictures), the rooms decorated beautifully, the olive trees, Padel courts, the raised garden beds, the grounds so tranquil, not to mention the most welcoming and kind staff. We did not get a chance to eat at Olivea but hope to the next time we visit. But the breakfast and coffee each morning was delicious. The location was safe with 24 hour security and centrally located next to so many amazing wineries. Our hotel point of contact was so helpful. We cannot recommend this boutique hotel enough, cannot wait to visit again soon!

I can’t say enough good things about Casa Olivea (formerly MYA Boutique Hotel) in Valle de Guadalupe—it’s a dreamy, design-forward oasis in the heart of Mexico’s wine country. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in tranquility. The architecture is modern and minimal but still manages to feel warm, cozy, and deeply connected to the landscape. Think desert chic meets understated luxury.||The rooms are gorgeous—spacious, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The bedding was heavenly (I didn’t want to leave the bed), and the entire space feels curated for deep rest and relaxation.||The food? Unreal. Their on-site restaurant offers elevated, farm-to-table cuisine that highlights the region’s freshest ingredients. Every dish was a standout. Their wine and cocktail list is top-notch, and the service was incredibly warm and attentive without ever feeling overbearing.||We also loved the amenities. The pool is a serene little sanctuary, perfect for a post-wine-dinner float or morning sun soak. And for something fun and active, the on-site padel courts were such a unique bonus—we played a few rounds before heading out to explore local wineries.||MYA has this rare combination of intimacy, serenity, and style—it feels luxurious, but never pretentious. Perfect for a romantic weekend, a wellness reset, or a laid-back escape with friends.||Already planning my next trip back.

We had the best time at Mya. It's so rare to find a place on social lives up to the hype. We stayed here a little over a year ago, but I was just thinking about how incredible our experience was. It was so perfect down to every detail. The property and rooms feel like they're out of a magazine. We felt like we'd stepped into a little slice of heaven.||The owner and staff are incredibly warm and kind. The food was amazing—not just the restaurant where we had dinner, but the breakfasts as well. There were even homemade pastries. Everything is hand picked or farm to table and made with so much care. We felt so taken care of. It was truly and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be going back.

Olivea Farm To Table is not just a restaurant — it’s a manifesto of rural elegance, a sanctuary where luxury is cultivated with bare hands and served with refined artistry.||From the moment you walk down the olive tree-lined path, you know you’re stepping into a slower, more intentional way of living. There is no fixed menu here: the land decides, and the chef — with almost poetic precision — transforms just-harvested ingredients into dishes that balance technique, subtlety, and emotion. Every bite is seasonal, honest, and visually exquisite.||The service is exceptional: warm yet sophisticated, attentive without being overbearing. It feels as if the restaurant opened just for you.||I left Olivea changed — with a more awakened palate, a fuller heart, and one clear truth: real luxury isn’t flaunted… it’s lived, and remembered with gratitude.

A beautiful oasis that was perfect after a day of winery hopping. The decor and furniture was such high quality and the staff was incredibly friendly. It was a bit cool for the pool but we enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the sun and wandering the grounds. We got to chat with Ange the owner who was so kind and welcoming. The hotel is pretty close off of a main road but you have no idea once you're inside the property. Thank you for such a beautiful stay!

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, and well located. The only issue is that it does not really have a restaurant or anything to eat in the afternoon. The Restaurant only opens from Wednesday to Saturday but you could only dine if you buy the 2,000 pesos experience that included like 8 dishes and a visit to the farm. So if you are tired and not very hungry and would like to spend a peaceful afternoon in the nice hotel facilites, you will need to bring food from the Oxo or some pizzas that close at 8 pm. I suggest the hotel to at least have some snaks and beverages to sell in the afternoon/evening, and accept people to join the restaurant (when it opens), and order any dish from the menu of the day.

Exceeded my expectations. I incorrectly input my email address when booking my stay, I called the and they quickly responded. They update my email address and sent stay information. They followed up with me on the day of my stay and made sure I knew how to get there. Upon arriving we were given a tour of the location. The pool is heat. The beds are so comfortable. We used the padel court and the fire pits. There is no need to leave the location they have all of the services there. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had the BEST stay. Every employee was so friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was delicious, rooms were well equipped. Loved getting a cocktail and sitting on the patio. Pool was really nice too. We’re from San Diego and will definitely be recommending this place to others
