Since 1906, Paladino bar and shop is resisting to all new Brazilian fashions. Created by Italian migrants the house have pleased generations of local customers. A must see for the ones aiming to travel in the past of Rio's downtown and feel what this city used to be before the global emergency 😁

First time I came to this place I was probably 12/13 y.o. with my dad who used to work near by. This is 30 years ago now and every time I enter this place it works as a time capsule to me. The food, the smell, the atmosphere are exactly the same. always go for the omelettes or the sambos....can't go wrong with them.

It was super cozy, we went there for a quick lunch and had an amazing omelette. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. The real deal. Old school brilliance. Order the triple hot sandwich - cheese, ham, and egg on a fresh French roll. I'm in heaven. Add a cold lager and you're set. Great atmosphere with lots of wood and tile. Liquor bottles are stored on shelves 20 feet high.

Special tradicional place, but with limited offers, Omelets and some good sanduíches, but that's about It. If you want a Cup of coffee the manager asks you to go next door.
Very strange.

Always great to return to this charming traditional place. Drink chopp with bolinhos or a plate of well selected nibbles at the heart of Rio.
