Casa Pimentón

Stayed in La Placita for Thanksgiving week. Had dinner here a couple nights. Atmosphere was cozy and nice. Pizza and drinks were the best! Had the Seared Salmon one night, not my favorite. Staff was friendly, especially my server Johjans who made me feel welcome and took good care of me :) Young lady who was bartending also made me a special drink “Carajillo” Very good!

Good pizza, pasta, and cocktails. Great atmosphere. If he's available, I'd ask for Johan. He was very enthusiastic and enhanced the experience.

Nah… my man Giovanni on the grill is FANTASTIC!! I was blown away! Being military, I move around a lot and stuff! Eaten pizza many places and stuff. This is Top tier! Johjans was our server and he was amazing! Yall should stop by! I’m surprised and too baffled to say more lol. Just come and eat it!

Pizza was great nor the cocktail. Service was very good and the place it is well decorated.

They have all types of different beers and the pizza is amazing! Also the manager is a gem! Great guy!

Awesome Pizzas, great ambiance and great service. Pizza is probably my favorite food and among the many Pizzerias I've tried this one stood up. Service was also pretty good. Calamari and Pasta Bolognese were also outstanding. We ordered the Pimentón, Pepperoni Tradizionale and Hot Honey. Highlight of the night was the spicy honey infusion they add to this last pizza. Simply spectacular, we had to order a side of that to keep adding to the other pizzas (I'll probably try to replicate that infusion at home as it adds a great finishing touch). Coconut cheesecake for dessert, which was gone in seconds (we should've ordered more). Good local beer as well from the Santurce Brewery. Definitely a place I'd like to come back to in the future.

Different from their little space in Carolina, this one is bigger and different. They have a variety of Tab beer 🍺 that are dispense your self with a electronic card. The meatballs are a must to order and the cauliflower pizza dough is excellent. The service was great but sometimes noisy inside the restaurant. Recommended 👍🏼

This was the best pizza I've had in PR, the best one was the fungi with truffle oil , for some reason they changed the recipe and adds a bechamel sauce to it. In my opinion it was not a great change. I hope they go back to the original

I have been to La Placita de Santurce many times and did not know there was this hidden gem called Casa Pimenton. The place is beautifully decorated and gives you a calm/warm vibe. This is a place with expertise in pizza. Service was great, and everything I drank or ate was as good as I desired. I recommend the arancini, pizza, and sangria.

Casa Pimentón is one of the food options by the Placita de Santurce. I thought they were the same people as Pimentón in Carolina, but they have different ownership. Like Pimentón they specialize in pizza. I liked Pinentón's slightly more. Still the pizza is very good here. My main issue with the pizza here was that the toppings were mostly placed in the middle. They weren't evenly laid out, so the first couple bites were loaded with pepperoni, for example, but the second half of the slice was mainly cheese. The garlic cheese bread was excellent. Ambiance was nice. Dimly lit. Seemed like a nice place for a date, but also perfect for a group of friends and family. They have a tiny outdoor section in the front. Parking is either street parking or a paid lot.

Best pizza in town in one of my favorite hangouts of San Juan... La placita. Go for the food and stick around for the night life.

I sprained my wrist surfing and then twisted it getting into the Uber on the way there, so it was excruciating by dinner. The waitstaff were SO lovely and accommodating helping us pack our order as a to-go. The meatballs are just delicious, as was the oven-fired margarita pizza. Very much like Italy. And there is no higher compliment!

Was heading to the mercado for dinner and our Uber driver recommended Pimenton. So glad he did. Food was excellent as was the service. The owner, Daniel, spent time with us explaining the menu and history. Adding it to my list of must go's when in San Juan.

The place is incredible! The food was great! For the Smoked Old Fashion, they used Jack Daniel's. The carpaccio has two large baguettes toasted, and the pizza tastes great. The dough tastes great; it would be better if it got a little crispy. Overall, the food and service were excellent. I would recommend this place!

Love this place! Fico pizza was 5/5! Mezcal melon smash also 5/5! Customer service 100/5 ! Must try, thank me later!

Pricey for a pizza. Mediocre cocktails. Bad service. Unimpressive ambiance. Save your money and enjoy excellent meals and drinks at ANY of the close restaurants nearby. You'll be impressed!

Oh my god! The food was delicious! We ordered different dishes and each one was incredible It is our fist time here and we will be back! Javier our server was Super nice and very professional! It is highly recommended!
