Casa Pregonda

Well I don’t usually share bad reviews but was asked to share by restaurant so here we go . Made a reservation after discovering Casa Pregonda through social networks ( it happens ) cute place , ok service , but food definitely not ok . Was super excited about the tortillas and they ended up being the worst I ever had ( and I had a Spanish friend at the table we couldn’t eat them ) crudos were average, only bright notes on the entire menu were the calamari sandwiches and the “paella” Honestly will never set foot there again . It was an almost total flop

Famous for their 'Arroz Carabinero', the first bite of this dish is promising. However, as I kept eating, the saltiness and fishy flavors became quite pronounced. The tortilla de patatas was a bit too eggy for my taste, but my favorite was definitely the pan con tomate—simple yet delicious.

10/10 experience on a Sunday night at Casa Pregonda. The staff immediately made us feel taken care of, and every tiny detail was thought through (down to the bathroom soap, the postcard decor, and the cute bowls of salt on each table). The pan tomate and jamón were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, the clams were fabulous with a sauce that was a touch strong but still so delicious, and the tuna crudo was on another level. This restaurant has gone straight to my “must revisit” list.

Everything is absolutely delicious, although the price is a bit higher. There is quality.
