Casa Punta Perula Hotel Boutique & Villas

Spent a relaxing week here in this sleepy refreshingly un-hip beach town, which has remained mostly unchanged since my last visit 18 years ago. Our compact but well appointed efficiency unit met all our needs and then some. Comfortable bed and good bedding, a bench at the end of the bed, a small desk and chair, stools for the kitchen counter, all intelligently placed and well thought out. What stood out are the thoughtful little details— outstanding bedside reading lamps!, plenty of hooks for towels and things, a big dresser, a shower floor that tilts to the drain, excellent water pressure, a flashlight hanging by the door, a well supplied kitchen. A foot bath, outdoor shower, a place to hang a bit of hand wash, a broom for keeping the very fine sand at bay. Welcoming and accommodating hosts. Well maintained and located just off the main drag and a block from the beach. Definitely recommend.

Punta Perula is a gem of a small rural fishing village. Casas Perula Botique Hotel is comfortable with an excellent restaurant across the street. proprietress Jackie (named after Jaqueline Kennedy, she informed us), was perfectly charming and attentive. There is a comfortable terrace with a view of the ocean that matches the rural scene. A new malecone in town is a great birdwatching spot—saw lots, including a Cocos Booby!

This hotel is amazing. Almost right on the best stretch of beach in Perula, this boutique hotel has a lot of charm. Host Jackie is simply amazing, and her staff keep the place well maintained. The common area has a perfect view of sunsets. The rooms are not opulent but are very thoughtfully stocked and tastefully furnished. We especially appreciated the black pepper grinder in our kitchenette and wireless charging lamps on our bedside table. The bed in Poisedon is amazing. We loved our stay last year, came back this year and stayed for months, and can’t wait to return.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Many amenities at the hotel. Jacky, one of the owners is very attentive and helpful! Bed was extremely comfortable and the common area a great place to hang out.

Warm welcoming owners and staff who could not have been more helpful. Beautifully decorated rooms and dining room. Attractive garden with a wonderful beach area with shaded canopy to sit and watch the ocean. A delightful breakfast with local marmalade and a good selection of continental breakfast items. What wonderful two heavenly days we had. Thank you.

We spent 9 relaxing days enjoying Punta Perula and staying at this lovely hotel. The key things to note: they provide excellent coffee, clean and comfortable beds, and the hotel is walking distance to everything. What more do you need? Also, the people that operate the hotel are absolutely amazing. Don't miss a chance to stay at Casa Punta Perula Hotel.

This clean, friendly B&B is on beautiful, quiet, sandy five mile long Punta Perula beach, 2 1/2 hour drive south of Puerta Vallarta. We had the second floor room facing the water, which is the only one of the three rooms that has this view. The continental breakfast is filling, with fresh juice, coffee, fruit, bread or bagels, sweet rolls, cereal and assorted condiments. There are lounge chairs provided under the shade screens on the beach. The water temperature in January was perfect, just walk right in. No rocks to be concerned with. Not many people around, even on Sunday. Great food at Jazz Restaurant and Wine Bar about six blocks down the road, the only place where we wanted to eat dinner. Next door to the B&B is a beach restaurant, Chee Chee, where we got guac and quesadillas for lunch which they could bring to you if you didn’t want to leave your lounge chairs.

I hope to come back there one day... the owner is super friendly and immediately makes you feel at home. Location is amazing, basically on the beach. Super safe, tidy and clean. I really recommend to book the beach view room! It’s perfect for a romantic getaway... or a relaxing weekend. Perula is also only 30min drive from amazing beaches in Cuixmala and Careyes. It is also 15min by boat to the famous Isla Cocinas. Great spot! Ciao Jackie :)
