We booked a room via booking.com (6months prior to staying), 2 weeks before our stay, I received an email that the hotel tried to cancel my booking due to nonpayment. The room was booked with a credit card and the policy states the card would be charged 7 days prior to staying. I tried contacting the hotel via booking.com and even called, however there was radio silence. In the end the room got cancelled. It looks like they just wanted to cancel to hike the prices.

The bed was excellent quality. However the room for three people was too small, in fact it was a room for two which was equipped with another bed. They gave us only two towels each time they changed them. |The breakfast was good and taken at a big collective friendly table by the pool. We had the choice between eggs and crepes every morning. |There was a lot of noise every night from the street. There wasn't any fan in the room which was a pity because we never use air conditioning. |Nevertheless it was a quite pleasant stay thanks to the charming area by the pool, the pool itself and the very good location in Getsemani. |

Had a difficult experience staying here for two nights and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Our negative experience caused us to leave Cartagena earlier than planned as we were so frustrated and disheartened. We are both avid travelers (each at over 50 countries) and this was one of the most difficult nights I have spent abroad. Additionally, we had just spent 4 nights in the Amazon with no electricity and I slept better in the Amazon. ||Two of us (female travelers) booked a triple room to have more space. The room we were given was an attic room above the office, with small metal circular stairs to get up to them. It had no outside windows and the AC was broken when we arrived. The shower and sink also did not have running water. We were assured it would be fixed immediately. As we had just come from the Amazon we attempted to bathe using a bottle of water. Additionally, as this is near the street, it was extremely loud until 2am (which is more par for the course, but something to be aware of). We told staff again about the stifling heat and no water but they were not able to fix it until the next day and did not switch us rooms until the next day. We did not leave that night because they continually told us they would fix it that night , but never did. We were provided a fan but this did little to lower the temperature (imagine sleeping in your attic in 90 degree summer weather. ) we were told to sleep with the door open , but as we are female we did not feel safe doing this. I did attempt to sleep downstairs by the pool in the hammock to get a breeze but the amount of mosquitos did not allow this. The next day I asked staff to come up to show them how hot the room was and they would not. We were told all our money would be returned for the first night by two different staff and they moved us to another smaller room so we chose to stay instead of leave. The next day upon check out , we were only returned half of the first night (not half of total) as we were originally told. Additionally, although we were downgraded to a smaller and cheaper room , we were not reimbursed. ||Absolutely do not recommend staying here, no matter the room you are placed in. Very sad when things like this happen but this can be avoided by the customer (pick a different hotel) and also by the hotel for actually taking care of their customer and doing what they say they will. ||+ The pool was lovely but that does not outweigh all the negative.

We stayed here 3 nights and don't really have any negatives to write about this stay. Mind you though that the rooms are basic, but it gives you all you need; a good bed, well functioning shower, although not always with hot water, but you don't need that here, intermittent wifi, but a short walk to the lounge area will connect you again, airco, a safe that needs instructions, good breakfast consisting of fruit, 2 slices of toast, 2 pancakes or scrambled eggs, tea, hot chocolate milk, coffee. An extra will cost you 5000. You get hotel service with a made-up bed and clean towels every morning.|Location is perfect, you are within bustling Getsemani, but just outside the noisy part. In the room you don't hear a thing about the noisy neighbourhood. |Recommendable if you don't expect 5* treatment.

I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was such a great experience. It's in the middle of it all in Getsemani, where there's always music and food and drinks late into the night, which is awesome. The best part is if you need a break or need to get some sleep for an early morning, the rooms are cool, comfy, and quiet. The night manager, Gabriel, was such a nice man. He greeted me when i checked in and helped me get settled. Oh, and breakfast is included, and it's worth waking up for.

Free breakfast consists of eggs or crepes, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, toast and the best homemade juice! The rooms have a/c and are cozy and practical. The pool is clean and refreshing! I loved the poolside hammocks for an afternoon siesta! The neighborhood is the best part! So much going on day and night, including amazing restaurants, clubs and squares full of activity. I love this place ❤️

Nicely located B&B in Getsemeni. This was to be our first experience of Colombian hospitality and it was a bit lacking. The staff were pleasant but not particularly giving out a warm welcome. Our room was basic but had everything you needed. The room was comfortable but pretty shabby in places. The pool is definitely the main draw of this place. It is a very nice feature and is very well looked after. I suffered quite a bad attack from bed bugs it would seem as there were no mosquitoes in the room and I was under sheets. I woke up with bites I had not sustained when I went to bed. When I researched the bites appearance, they were consistent with those described as bed bugs. Not pleasant. The included breakfast consists of fresh melon and pineapple etc, toast and scrambled eggs. No other options. Hot drinks are coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I wouldn’t recommend this place, the pool isn’t enough to outweigh the negatives unfortunately. This place could be so much better.

Our family of 4 (2 teens) stayed here for 3 nights. Once you step in to the courtyard it is a quiet refuge from the city. Our basic room (AC) actually could have had 5 people in it- a rare find in the city. Pool was large and refreshing. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, toast, eggs and crepes was served poolside. Excellent location- easy walk to the city center.
