We enjoyed our stay at Casa Roberto very much. Our room was comfortable, the decor lovely, and we overlooked the outdoor courtyard.||Roberto was very kind to us and actually planned our trip to various lovely places in Uruguay. We enjoyed evey place we visited. ||Casa Roberto is a beautiful old family home in downtown Montevideo which Roberto has restored. Many restaurants, shops and the lovely walking area along the ocean are close by. ||We stayed for 5 days at the beginning of our visit and two more prior to our departure.||The fact that Roberto speaks several languages, one being ours, English, is very helpful!

Whats not to like about Cash Roberto? A small classy boutique hotel come B&B in a beautifully restored old Montevideo house in a great location. It's like spending a few days at a friends home. Our bedroom was small but charming and came with its own roof top terrace. The lounge is a treasure. Beautifully decorated with a stunning collection of art books and classical music. Roberto and Alesia could not have been better hosts from the warm welcome to restaurant recommendations and arranging bike hire. As far away from the ubiquitous international corporate hotel as you can get. We loved it.

A bed and breakfast in Montevideo in one of the older and charming areas a beautiful house restored to perfection , 5 rooms each with their own twist .After staying here for 4 nights we still found little details we didn't notice before. Roberto a host with many talents.||But the most important thing was, we felt that this b&b after a few days was our home in Montevideo. The hospitality, the tips the atmosphere was fantastic and never experienced before during our many travels.||We are seriously thinking of spending more time in Montevideo but we still have to work out if this is based on our appreciation for Montevideo or the result of Roberto 's warm hospitality.||If ever I had a tip, this is one

We stayed at this amazing B&B for a few days in October 2017. Roberto, our host couldn’t have been more welcoming. His tips about restaurants, places to go and ways to get there as well as personal recommendations to restaurants made this an unforgettable holiday. We loved Montevideo and Casa Roberto was a big part of that. Excellent breakfast too

Casa Roberto is a hidden gem in Montevideo. The owner, a jovial Italian, gave me a warm welcome upon my late arrival, and he showed me around his tastefully furnished vintage house, which had a cozy reading room and a library with an impressive floor-to-ceiling bookcase. The room (I had number 4, green room) was spacious with a bright shower area (and good hot bath), and breakfast in the posh dining room was very satisfying (the orange cake was delicious). The B&B is located in a quiet neighbourhood about 15min taxi ride from the Tres Creces bus terminal and 30min walk away from Cuidad Vieja. A good place to check out if you like antiques and an eclectic living space during your travels.

We recently stayed at Casa Roberto and enjoyed our 4 nights there. We stayed in Room no. 1 which is decorated in an unusual, modern way. It is spacious, looks over the terraced area and has a lovely, large bathroom with a bath and 2 showers. We really liked the room. (Shown in the picture on tripadviser), Be aware that there is some noise starting at around 7.30am from the kitchen below but it wasn't bad. (I am a light sleeper). Breakfast is served at 9am and was very nice, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. They will also make fried or poached eggs for you. The property is decorated with antiques and the lounge area is just lovely. Good place to sit and read/chill if the weather outside is not so good. There is also a terraced area to enjoy if the weather is sunny. The B&B is within walking distance to both the old town and also to the beaches and modern district of Montivideo. I feel that I should point out that the area in which the B&B is situated is what you would describe as "gritter" than the modern part of the city and you have to use your common sense regarding security eg. put your handbag over your neck, don't wear flashy jewellery, don't walk into the old town at night etc. We were stopped by a local who was concerned I hadn't put my handbag over my neck, which was nice of them, and Alesia advised us to catch a taxi to/from the old city if we were visiting there in the evenings. There are a few good restaurants nearby and a bar we really enjoyed - Alesia and Roberto will give you recommendations.||We enjoyed our stay at this B&B.

Located in Centro, this luxury B&B pays respect to Montevideo's turn of the century period. Roberto preserved this spirit during his restoration of what CR has become. The vibrant colors and collection of vintage antiques made me feel transported back to a civilized era.||||During the time before my arrival, Roberto responded to all my email inquiries in a timely manner and was proud sharing with me what Uruguay had to offer. I had Room #3 and was very pleased with the immaculate and clean space. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A special treat was freshly squeezed orange juice...haven't had that in a very long time.||||Adelina was on site when I stayed here and was a delightful host. A special shout out goes her way for making my stay enjoyable. ||||You get a great value here compared to other properties in the city. I booked direct with CR so a business relationship could be started in getting up to the minute info on what's happening in the city and countryside.||||Yes, Casa Roberto was truly my home away from home!

Such a charming Boutique Hotel, where guests receive direct attention from the owner, Roberto who is really adorable. It seems he has refurbished the propriety himself. I visited Montevideo with my partner for NYE and he cooked an exceptional dinner on the night of the 31st. The hotel is well located in between many points of interest and a few blocks from the Rambla.
