Casa Romana Pension & Pizza

After a mishap with our first booking through booking.com we ended up here. Staff was friendly and young. Room in an old neighbourhood building was interesting, made you feel as one of the locals.entrance was secure, but no parking. Room was clean with a funky lavender color but the most amazing view to the back alley. Warm water with good pressure. Mattress was fine too. Given the location and all the other positives, I would recommend this place.

Nice, big and very clean rooms. It's located near historical centre. The price is very good and the condition same. Even if it is located above the restaurant, rooms are quiet. One problem: on the staircase is a very strong smell of pizza.

Pros: The room in which I stayed, 103, has floor heating as well as radiators, which was nice for December. I found the room really big and lots of natural lighting. The view was to the street, with windows open it could get noisy, but there is another window in the room's hallway that could get open. We had a fridge, which was good. |Cons: The floor was kind of bad, every move made would make the closet move and make noise. Furthermore, if someone in the next room or the room upstairs would walk, our closet would also move and make noise. The walls are thin. The bed was bad, with a worn off matress on which you would sink, very difficult to sleep on, and with every move the bed would squeek. The bathroom was very small, but very well heated. ||We had no problems with the check-in, but it was a little bit weird to get in through the restaurant and the check-in to be in the restaurant. |

I booked a room many months ago based on what I had seen online. The day we arrived I went inside to inquire about the free parking that was on our booking. I was told by someone with no personality no free parking, go pay on the street. I showed her the booking form where clearly it states free parking, she looked at me and simply said no. Not even an oh I'm sorry, nothing. Then I proceeded to try and check in. The girl takes my passport. I ask to get the paperwork done so I can have it back. She says no she will keep it for four days till we leave and pay. Well no way am I about to leave my passport behind the desk of a pizza counter! So I pay upfront. We then go to our room. Well, first we did not get the room we had reserved. We got a horrible "dark closet" upstairs. Everything was awful. The shower leaked all over the floor, the pillows if you can call them that were pitiful the glass table had the glass broken. We had the hardest, roughest towels I have ever felt. There was no outdoor patio area as shown in the pictures and the wifi available in all areas does not exist! You must sit in the pizza place for wifi! We were terribly mislead! We stayed one horrible night and left the next morning. Please buyer beware! Not what you see or read online at all! Don't bother, find somewhere else!

Great place with a nice team. The rooms are clean and nice. The only problem we had is a broken shower but nothing big. The place is located close to city center. We easily found a spot to park. Sibiu is one of our favorite town in Romania

We got a big room in a traditional, renovated house. It was quite and the bed comfortable but not too clean with dome visible hair on the floor. Also in the bathroom the ventilation wasn't working and the sink was draining poorly.

Good location, around 2-3 minutes walking distance from Piata Mare and Piata Mica in the center.|Very nice stay, cosy room with a normal size. Also bathroom was ok and even more, it has jacuzzi bath tub, or kind of.|Over all it was a nice experience.

We chose this accomodation -"strike one". The pictures from web-site will trick you. The pension is in a old building with many others neighbors in same commun crowded yard. Parking a little bit dificult, somewhere near-by, not own parking. Even if they have a small restaurant it is better to eat in another place. In the first day we tried breakfast-" strike two", service very bad, food from the super-market with very low quality products. We were sorry that we visited this place.
