The room opened on to a spectacular view of the town... rooftops, valley, surrounding mountains, clean crisp air! The space was bright and had a great feel, very comfortable, spotless bathroom, storage area, and that private terrace!||||Miguel is an antiques dealer and he has this entire place decorated splendidly and tastefully. The lovely little breakfast room had all that we wanted, and Memo was more than ready to get us something we wanted... like green or herbal tea, hot water in the afternoon for some tea. Such intelligent, pleasant conversation from the inn keepers makes the stay even more special!||||Just a short three minute walk to the cute plaza where you will find gift shops with nice quality merchandise, restaurants aplenty, and if you choose to scale the main street toward the town itself (away from the plaza, that is) then you will find other restaurants more used by regulars as well. Just ask Miguel or Memo.||||Bus stops nearby if you use public transportation, probably a seven or eight minute walk, and a ticket is very cost-effective, If you drive in, there is parking here and there, not like in the larger Spanish cities; and you will have to either take your luggage to the inn on foot, or squeeze your vehicle down the narrow lane to unload, then drive back out to a parking spot along a street or in the plaza below.||||At any rate, I urge you to consider Terrazas a la plaza for a quiet, beautiful stay with pleasant and open inn keepers, and easy access to Chinchón and surroundings. We even ended up at a local pub for some bar-style churros con chocolate where the waiter who had taken care of us hours earlier at a local restaurant ended up telling us jokes and buying our churros for us!
