I loved the place and service. The house is gorgeous and makes you feel like you are in the past century. A very quiet place with friendly people, comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

Do not stay at this dump. It smells musty, we observed mildew and when asked front desk about why no heat, the response was,"the owner doesn't allow the heat to be turned on until 8pm". It was damp, cold and rain making for a horrible experience with no compassion from the staff. Save your money as you would have a better experience sleeping in your rental car.

Mattresses on the beds are very poor and loud! Bathrooms are small and our room only had handheld shower. We completely accepted the fact that we would need to park and carry our luggage to the hotel (management is very clear about this). We were willing to make the trade to sleep in the old town and have the city to our selves after the tour bus crowds left for the day. It is listed as a three star hotel, so again had expectations in check. But the basics need to be done very well! We were aware air conditioning was not available but were promised fans for each room (over email while booking). No fans were to be found in either room. I comfortable place to sleep, a functional shower, and some non-processed protein (cold cuts and cheese were offered) on the breakfast buffet would have been nice. Boiled eggs anyone?

The experience of staying in an historic building in the heart of the old walled city absolutely made this experience for us. Everything was clean and the staff incredibly friendly. Being a stones throw from the castle allowed us to do both sunrise and sunset walks along the top of the city walls without the daytime crowds. During the day it was great to conveniently slip away into our own refuge. Highly recommended experience.

Great Location if you're staying in Obidos, Portugal. Reasonably priced bed & breakfast. Room is small. Bed and pillows comfortable. We were disappointed in the breakfast. They had a small display, some bread and small croissants, a small slice of Portuguese pound cake, one dish of cheese and ham, orange or peach juice and regular coffee, tea or water. They only have 3 small tables and one large table in the small breakfast room, so they ask you to pick a time for breakfast when you register. Either 8:15 to 9:15 or 9:15 to 10:15.

We Love our stay here at this Casa which is over 500 years old and right in the heart of Obidos! The staff is very attentive and they helped us with whatever we needed to make our stay even better! The breakfast is simple but just what you need to start your day! Bed is super comfortable and we just loved our room! Highly recommend this place if you want an authentic experience in Obidos!

Loved this place, hospitable, helpful, super comfy bed and a delicious fresh breakfast. Based at the end of the castle, it is still in the hub, but not in the hussle and bustle. Highly recommend stayinh here. Wonderful homestay, with super lovely staff.

The absolute cutest. So glad we picked this hotel. Bathroom was a bit pokey, but the hotel itself was just adorable. Beds comfortable. In a fabulous location (but this town is tiny, anywhere will be great location). The breakfast was lovely, the staff were helpful and let us put some things in the hotel fridge. Not sure what else to say. We loved it.
