Casa Saltara | Restaurant and Accommodations

We went there for aperitif and dinner and boy were we not amazed ... The food and wine were phenomenal and you can't go wrong with any choice. The place looks like a dream ... The staff were all absolutely brilliant. Both Paulas Who were so kind and sweet and accommodated us with their warm welcome, Matteo who was a perfect professional and guided us through our choices, Aruna who made us exceptional cocktails and of course the owner and the legend himself, Mario ... They all made us feel so special and wanting to go back. Definitely a place bookmarked in my map and my heart.

Dinner here was super special. It’s such a beautiful and romantic atmosphere for dinner. The service is out of this world. The food felt like it celebrated the best of Sardinian produce! The charcuterie board was probably the best I’ve ever had - don’t skip it. The pastas were great. The roast porceddu was really tasty, it was definitely not the best pork I’ve ever had as I think it’s hard to keep all the cuts moist when cooked over fire. For dessert I personally do not think tiramisu benefits from edits of any kind, including the addition of myrtle which they do here. But overall this meal was incredible I wished we had stayed at the hotel - the photos on booking.com don’t do it justice at all.

Casa Saltara is a must visit place if you go to Santa Teresa di Gallura. Glamorous location in the heart of Gallura hills which offers traditional Sardinian dishes. Please don’t miss the suckling pig and culurgiones ( pasta stuffed of pecorino cheese mint and potato).Unforgettable night with amazing service.

Good food, but 35€ for porcheddu is way too much, willing to pay this amount but with proper service, especially in August during peak season they hire internationals to deal with restaurant service and quality is not great

Pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms, good staff, and tasty food. We stayed for 3 nights with friends and enjoyed the whole experience.

We just came for the restaurant on a saturday evening and it was a great surprise ! I tried many dishes including porcetta and they were all delicious ! We were outside and I must say the place was very quiet and beautiful ! As the temperature was a bit cold, they even provided plaids which was perfect to keep us warm. Overall, it turned out to be a great moment for us! Thank you !

Beautiful quiet spot, amazing restaurant. Deluxe room, not so Deluxe to be fair, very basic.

This place is like a safe haven. The agriturismo is app 10 mins drive away from the beach. We stayed in a bungalow for two days and ate at the restaurant both of the evenings. It was so much food and it was so good! The bungalows were really cosy however it was a really low pressure in the shower and the tv was nt working properly. However it was a really relaxing place to spend a couple of days on and the owners are really friendly. During the warm afternoon you could go to the pool at the Main building. We paid 230eur for two persons for two nights including a really nice breakfast. The cost for a 3 course dinner including wine, water and coffe was 66 eur for two persons. Really good value for your money and a extremely relaxing place!
